The video on this site seems to have been as heavily cut up and edited as the ABC Palin interview was, but it is nevertheless powerful in its message:

this is what i really want to focus on - how come these standards were dropped so low and then enforced to setup failure?
why this wasn't seen coming is beyond me. no one i know would lend someone w/bad credit $200,000 to buy a house. that overinflated the market and put us all in this bind.
i think there was an honest desire to help people get a home but i think the methods used were stupid and so very wrong. help people learn to fend for themselves, not make it easier for them NOT to have to.
liberals want to hand out fish it seems.
conservatives want you to fish for yourself.

Why do credit cards routinely try to get young college kids...many with no income knowing they are immature, will spend like crazy and have no way to pay the card?
Why do credit cards send out pre approved applications to people who have just filed bankruptcy with them?
Why do credit cards approve raises in credit to people who have demonstrated they can't even pay their bill as is?
I think these guys love the idea of someone who can not pay their bills because they can just give higher interest rates for longer periods of time and keep said people trapped in debt.
Not sure the same applies to some of these mortgage and loan companies.

as a college student, i got a lot of those and a student loan. i've tried to keep my CC debt around where my stock portfolio was in case something "bad" happened, one could kill the the other so to speak. today, i'd be left in the hole but i can still payout my debt if fired today and have money to stand on after the fact. took me 20+ years since graduating to get this far, but i did.
trapping people into debt we're good at doing in our economy. i'm guilty of it myself but try to keep it managable. when i get a bonus from work, at least 1/2 goes to pay off debt and the other 1/2 goes to improve my house or get a "toy" i've wanted for awhile. i'm to the point now where once paid off, the card gets destroyed and i'll keep 2 when done, no more.
but yea, we are far too willing to live off of tomorrows work. we jsut seem to have gotten lazy about working tomorrow once getting what we want today.

How come the Obama supporters are not flocking to this thread to defend their fabricated candidate?
There are some things you just can't defend.

Thats pretty common place with him. Nobody in their right mind can defend hardly any of his crap, so the left wing media does the next best thing and chooses to ignore it. It's all they can do.
He loses on issues. He loses on experience. He has major ties to radicals, anti-Americans, racists and crooks. His finance people are huge crooks who worked for companies that lined his pockets with tons of cash, while they were ruining said companies and keeping millions for themselves.
Seriously, this clown is the worst candidate I've ever seen run for POTUS. I cant believe anybody in our great country, in their right mind would vote for him.

I don't get it either. The farthest left candidate yet with very bad( not questionable)associations.Didn't the Dems learn their lesson with Kerry?
William Ayers?
Jeremiah Wright?
True America haters!...anybody who overlook his ties with these two and others is stupid,or intellectually dishonest.
I believe the American people will do the right thing come election day.
