Honestly, I have no problem with the "Cowboy" mentality. I prefer it. The Cowboy way was to do the right thing, do it well and if anyone gave you a ration of crap, you hit them hard.

It's time we let people know that if you attack us, we will hit you back. And in such force you will never recover. We won't talk to you. We won't try to understand your feelings. We won't try to justify your actions. We will not try to take some of the blame because of "our policies".

You know why the rest of the World doesn't like the Cowboy mentality? Because they don't have the sack to be Cowboys themselves.

You think a John Wayne character would take a punch in the mouth and then say, "I can understand why you would do that. Let's explore your feelings."?

Truthfully, we need more people with this kind of mentality. This is one of the reasons we haven't been attacked since 9/11 here at home. Because the entire world knows Bush will not hesitate to bomb them back to the dark ages. Kinda like Bin Laden who is now living in a cave and using an oil lamp to see.

Um... Iraq didn't attack us.

And if we didn't divert troops to Iraq from Tora Bora, Bin Laden wouldn't be living in a cave; he would be dead.

After the first world trade center bombing Al Qaeda didn't attack America for the rest of the Clinton administration, because Al Qaeda takes a long time between each attack. Moreover worldwide terrorism has increased since 9/11, not decreased.

They didn't attack America during Clinton after the first WTC? What about the Cole?
If you think that Iraq wasn't a sponsor of terrorists then you are crazy. He even admitted he was. We aren't going to sit back and just let a lunatic run around, supporting terror and do nothing about it. Especially in a post 3/11 World.

And if "worldwide terrorism" is up since 9/11, then maybe the rest of the world should get on board with OUR program since it has seemed to work for us.

But hey, think what you want. You guys aren't going to win this election anyway. So I don't think we have to worry about these mamby pamby views actually becoming policy.

Um wrong again. During the sanctions after Desert Storm, up to the day of the invasion Iraq military was taking shots at our planes in the no fly zones. For the most part they only caused minor damage to aircraft but it is still hostile actions.

Clinton had 7 chances to "get" bin Laden and his people screwed up so badly it made GWB look a genius during Katrina.
