rookie QB's are 10-0 so far this yr...Roestlisberger is 7-0 and CRAIG KRENZEL is
3-0

pretty sure Henson is vastly more talented than Criag Krenzel, please some of you...refrain from telling me that Krenzel has the "advantage" because he played the past couple of season...playing doesnt make that much difference when you are a scrub talent

Krenzel has looked bad so far. Hutch must really suck to not beat him out. :p The Bears have been playing great defense lately and winning games. The Ravens defense is helping their young second year QB win games. If the Dallas defense could do that currently, people probably would be happy with Vinny. Not me, never wanted that guy here.

It is almost Henson time and I do think a three year layoff has an effect on a QB. I don't see magic happening this season just by putting Henson in to play. Pittsburgh is benefitting from the exception and not the rule. I would like to see Henson get some playing time in a couple of weeks so they can prepare for the future. For now let Vinny get beat up by Philly and Baltimore.

I agree about the three-year layoff which is why I didn't want to see him at the beginning of the year.

I changed my mind just to get the future started.

Throwing him in against Philly and Baltimore......what a better time to do it? You throw him in against those teams, other defenses that he will face later won't seem NEARLY as bad. Think about it. However, if all that he faces are wussy defenses and THEN has to face a blitzing, tough defense, he would have more problems.

I see the logic in waiting, but there is also logic in doing it now.
