CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples). McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales. (How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.)

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN
15% (no change)

OBAMA
39.6% - (How will this affect you? If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the money earned on taxes if Obama becomes president. The experts predict that 'Higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains would crash the stock market, yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.')

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN

(no changes)
Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000

Single making 50K - tax $14,000
Single making 75K - tax $23,250
Married making 60K - tax $16,800
Married making 75K - tax $21,000
Married making 125K - tax $38,750
Under Obama, your taxes could almost double!

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN
- 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA
Restore the inheritance tax

Many families have lost businesses, farms, ranches, and homes that have been in their families for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved ones will only lose them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES PROPOSED BY OBAMA

New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet. New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already) New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity) New taxes on retirement accounts, and last but not least....New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!

You forgot the most important ones:
McCain is an old war vet and POW.
Obama is an Ivy League lawyer and former community organizer that is half black.

Both campaigns thought you should know.

Obama's tax plan really scares me especially with the way the econamy is going. More taxes just floors the consumer confidence index.

Half black?

Please, McCain didn't have HALF a table for 5 and a half years.
McCain was a FULL POW.
This is just more evidence of Obama not being able to take a firm stance on an issue. Where are the details, is he anything but empty rhetoric? You know, some people even say that his birth certificate was forged.

50% Black, 50% Muslim
100% wrong for our country

It's really a shame that this is how political campaigns go, isn't it?

If you run with the dogs Barrack Hussein Obama has ran with you're gonna to get fleas. I fought commies in Vietnam, so I really don't want one as president. If I had the talent to be a writer, many years back, I would have written a book titled "The next Great American Revolution". As we get fed up with taxation without representation.

Actually, no. He's been claiming since the beginning that he was actually going to cut taxes for the vast majority of people. This email and "info" has been around for a while now, but it's still false and always has been.

repealing Bush's tax cuts, which he did say he'd do, wont result in "tax cuts for the vast majority of people"

He's said he'd repeal Bush's tax cuts for those making 250k+ a year. He's never said he'd repeal the cuts for those making less than that. As a matter of fact, he'd cut them further.

This election cycle is going to get even dirtier than it is now before election day.

We will hear about the Rev J Wright again (legitimate target I think due to his Barrry's 20 yr attendence there), Bill Ayers, Sol A. (Barry's Mentor, according to many on the right), his alleged communist ties, his alleged muslin faith (not a fair criticism), and other things not yet unearthed.

We will hear about McCain's role in the Keating 5, his infidelity in his first marraige, his temper, someone will surface claiming that McCain was dishnorable while a POW, and something not yet known.

What a way we have to run elections!

If it's socialism you fear, look no further than Paulson, Bernanke, and the Bush administration's Wall Street Bailout which constitutes a massive government intervention in the marketplace. Bye, bye illusory laissez faire, unregulated, free market economy.
