Keyshawn is no better than a mediocre #2 WR at this point of his career. He doesn't scare anybody.

Let's be honest here.....KJ NEVER has scared anybody. He doesn't have the speed or anything...but he does catch the ball WHEN WE THROW IT TO HIM.

If it's not INT'd that is.

He think he still can be effective with a deep threat on the other side.

He played well when Glenn & AB were around.

he's a pretty damn good #2 masquerading as a #1.

I feel your pain, but, try not to let your frustration make you type stupid stuff

Exactly, he feeds on the talent around him but can't beat anyone on his own - a mediocre #2 WR.

He's got to get open before he can be thrown to, though.

He really is only a decent #2. Decent, if that. He's just so, so slow.

His selling Parcells that he can still be good is like the WR selling the QB that he's open every play -- and Parcells bought it.

The Problem is what's Quincy Morgan a mediocre #4?

No, he is a mediocre #2 WR. A good #2 WR would make you pay when he is single-covered. Keyshawn cannot do that. He cannot generate separation because he has lost all his quickness and speed.

WR is a serious need this offseason.

Yeah, but DT, DE, CB and LB are bigger needs, along with a true FS. Add RB to the top of the list if Jones doesn't show us something when he makes it back.

I have hope for Frazier, with a camp under his belt, but we still need a nickel, DT, DE & FS.

The problem is the talent on the DL is not great in this draft - at least not where we are drafting. When we are picking (picks 5 - 15) the best players are likely to be one of the LBs (Johnson or Brooks) or one of the WRs (Braylon Edwards or Mike Williams). The CBs I like (Miller, Webster) can probably be had in a trade down into the 15-25 range and would represent good value there.

There just aren't any dominating DL in the top half of the draft. I'm not impressed by Hawthorne, Wright, Kiawunika or Pollack - not enough for a top 10 pick anyway.

...can't lose what he never had.

I'd bet that McNabb would prefer KJ over Freddie *%$%^ Mitchell most any day as a #2 (just imagining he and TO on the same team makes me laugh)

I couldn't agree more about WR being a priority. Unfortunately there are about 7 priorities.

It's way to early to be guessing where people fall in the draft, too many people move up/down between now and then.

Johnson or Brooks at LB'er look nice. Edwards scares me some, but he looks pretty damn good in college. Hard to say what will happen with Williams since he has been out for a year.

Yes, but there is a good chance that the top two players on our draft board will be WR when we are on the clock - Braylon Edwards and Mike Williams.

The DL in that range don't impress me.

The LBs look good (Brooks, Johnson).

We already have our OLT so I wouldn't spend a pick on one.

We already have our QB of the future in Henson so I wouldn't spend a pick here.

I don't like the RBs this high.

I don't like Rolle as much as some do. I think guys like Miller and Webster will be just as good and can be had much lower in the first.

I think we're probably gonna be safe in bringing out the ole "Best Player Available" adage. Set your board and make your pick. Oughta be simple.....

keyshawn is still a good possession receiver. but he's miscast as the #1. anybody still likin' the bryant-for-morgan deal? that one looks more stupid as the days go by.

That's my point. The BPA is not going to be a DL. Maybe a LB, maybe a WR, but unlikely a DL. If the BPA is a QB, I wouldn't draft him because I think Henson is the man. Ditto for LT with Adams. That pretty much well leaves CB, LB and WR. Of those spots, I like the options at LB and WR in what is likely to be our draft position in the first round. I think the late first round CBs will be quite good this year (Webster, Miller, Jackson, Rogers).
