And no one who is considering voting for McCain is voting because Palin has foreign policy experience.

More likely, Clinton would have had it because .... AR ... borders the former Republic of Texas..? There.

And as for carter, well, GA sits along the Atlantic coast...so there's all that international shipping...

Palin never had any trade dealings with Russia as she claimed and she also never travelled outside of the US till last year I believe. But hey, she can see the border from Alaska so I guess she is qualified. :lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao::lmao2::laugh1::laugh2:

Yeah the quote is fun to joke around with... fact of the matter is... ALL the candidates have said something stupid and have been beat down for it. No biggie.

Just the Facts:
(again MORE experience than Clinton and Carter)

"It's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where — where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is — from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to ... to our state," she said.

Palin has two trade specialists working for the governor's office. The top countries receiving Alaskan goods are Japan, Korea, China, Canada and Germany, according to 2006 export data, the most recent figures published, with seafood accounting for 50 percent of exports.

Palin spokesman Bill McAllister said she met with Iceland's president, Olafur Ragnar Grimsson last fall, and they discussed energy issues. She also has met with various trade delegations during her two years in office.

But hey, she can see the border from Alaska so I guess she is qualified.Trade dealings aren't the only ways to have contact with foreign countries. Alaska has to deal with Russia every day, seeing as their separated by about 50 miles. Do you think the Governor of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California have to deal with Mexico?

BTW... inundating your post with laughing smilies doesn't make your point any more valid.

I swear there is some kind of "power vacuum" with the extreme leftist on this board.

One gets himself banned ...... another steps up to the "crazy plate" and takes his place.

Its sad and predictable.

LOL..I am not an extreme leftist. Not even close. It's just obvious who the idiots are in this presidential race. And it isn't Obama. If you are comfortable with Palin possibly running the country then by all means go vote for her. Me, I will cast my vote for someone who actually knows what they are doing and would actually be RESPECTED by world leaders. Personally I hate all politicians. It usually comes down to voting for the lesser of two evils. After hearing what Palin and McCain had to say, my vote goes for Obama.

And you honestly think McCain is worse for America than Obama?
Respected by world leaders?
The same leaders of countries that want the US to fail?
How come you don't post as passionately on the Obama associations with a laundry list of questionable characters while bashing away at the other candidates?
If you claim to hate politicians, then hate on Obama-Biden.It does not get more politician than that.Career politicians.
We read your posts, and they are all angrier and more senseless than the last, including this ridiculous claim that you are not a leftist.
Only leftist will start a thread like this one and actually believe the content of it.
Get a clue,it's still free to do so.

Most of the crap that gets tossed around here about lefts and rights is just "left compared to me" and "right compared to me".

Look where "the left" and "the right" lie on a bigger political scale...

I voted for Reagan, I am pro Military, I am against Big spending. But I oppose getting into a war for no reason (see Iraq) and I can't stand a president who constantly gets in front of the microphone and makes himself look an idiot and embarrasses himself and his country (See Bush). I know plenty of republicans who are scared ****less of Palin and think McCains policies are just a continuation of the Bush policies which have harmed America. End of leftist discussion. NEXT.
