I thought I'd post something nice about the team.

After doing what many us said he should do in preseason, Parcells finally let Crayton return punts and he actually did a good job - who would have thunk it?

Lee continues to impress as a KOR. Too bad he can't be given a fair shot at RB - just give him one series per half. Maybe he sucks. Maybe he'd be good. We won't know because we never get to see what he can do. I think it is important to find out if he can form part of a duo with JJ when he comes back. If he cannot, then we'll need to draft someone next year in the fourth or fifth round.

I agree. Lee is gonna break one soon. He could of scored on one of his returns today if he had cut back. He had blockers, but didn't take advantage of it.

Crayton had one bad return, but then was more aggressive after that. He's definitely better then what we had last year. And with more touches he could possibly break one as well.

Thing is, we have to actually get the other team to punt the ball. And we have to do it when they're far enough away so that they can't just make us fair catch it at the 10 yard line.

Yeah, they both did well. IMO, BP has seen enough mistakes or whatever from Lee in practice and just doesn't trust him. I know that drives people crazy, but that is what it sounds like. Hopefully Jones will be the answer and it won't matter anyhow.

I don't like Copper playing KR that much. He just seems too thin. I cringe every time he has the ball, waiting on him to get rocked and fumble. Maybe it's just me........

McBriar is a HUGE improvement over Gowin as well. Night and day really.

Cundiff's KOs were actually okay today for the most part.

Yeah McBriar is a good one. I wish he'd try to pin them a little deeper when he's punting into a short field though. He's a little bit too careful, but he's only a rookie. He's got time to learn and get better.

Yep. I'd like to see both Cundiff and McBriar return next year. It would be nice to have some continuation there for a change.

I thought so at first, but on the replay it looked as though cutting back would have slowed him down enough for two Eagles to catch him. They were between the blockers and Lee.

I saw it the same way joseephus. I think the pursuit would have caught him if he had cut back. But I wish he would have turned on the kicker and really punished him for trying to tackle him.

Lee has to learn how to juke the kicker. He could have 2 or 3 td's already.

I've been swearing like a sailor about this since week 1. I have no idea why Frazier has been returning punts and Crayton has not. It took an injury to Frazier to get Crayton back there and he looks good. Hopefully he now has that job nailed down for the rest of the season.

Now there is a thought!

Lee seems to be a straight line runner on kickoffs, which is good when there is a hole. But when he has to try and be elusive when there is nothing there he just runs into the tackler.

Having said that I would rather have him move north and south then going side ways, because I am not sure he has the speed or elusiveness to do anything else.
