after week one. He questioned his role in the offense. Somehow i missed the calvary of reporters at redskin park to cover the story. Only Brian Mitchell had the guts to call him out on it. Where was the rountable debate on portis. Did BSPN send Ed Werder and Sal Pal to Washington? It's a joke, screw BSPN.

We just need to win and that will shut them up.

LOL - like I said, when you lose, it's going to be a long and painful week.

What happened subsequently to the Skins? They won 3 straight? We'll be fine.

Can we get somebody on defense to call out Wade and Brian?

To be frank, I've seen alot of players call out their coaches et al when they're losing. Sure, they sound selfish and immature on the surface, but losing is always tough.

Cavalry is mounted soldiers; Calvary is the hill where purportedly was crucified.

We just need to win and that will shut them up.We can go 18-1 and that will not shut them up. Hopefully, we will do just that so fans can finally see for themselves.

*Shrugs* It is what it is. Portis is loved by the media, TO is hated by them. So it's not like they're going to show any sort of the same rules for each of them.

No, no, it's clearly an anti-Dallas bias in the media. B/c T.O. has never done this before...and Portis is the true teamwrecker. T.O. didn't cut off routes when he wasn't getting the ball...and Portis is one of the worst pass-blockers out there....terrible, terrible team mate who goes 1/2 through games

(btw -- I am being a little sarcastic...)

Sarcastic or not it wouldn't matter if Portis did this or not more than once. As long as he's willing to dress up and play characters, and be funny, with the media they're always going to love him.

Chris Cooley is another example. Cause he's a goof ball, and the media sort of likes him, he gets ripped for posting pictures of his manhood online for about a day. If TO did this then this would be something to rip on him for absolutely every chance they get.

Another great example would the the Giants. While they were destructive, and devisive, as a team, calling out their coach, they got some pub on it and got ripped a little but the moment they won the media turned this into something about how the Giants needed to vent like that and get it turned around. Now Coughlin is praised as a coach who changes his ways, his team that ripped on him are just fine and they just pretty much try and say "It was really only Barber and Shockey anyway". Let that EXACT same thing happen in Dallas, with TO as part of the players making those complaints, and even if they won the Superbowl after that the talking heads would talk about how they got lucky and won it INSPITE OF TO.

It is what it is. Doesn't matter and who cares. :)

That's true -- I really dislike about 98% of the media. I've had to listen to them say the Skins got lucky against the Saints. Despite out gaining them by 200 yards, have a 10 min TOP advantage, and a 3-1 turnover margin. And then against the Cards, it was the same thing. Despite outplaying the Cards, it was we got luck off an interception. Only now that we won in Dallas are we getting some kind of recognition. However we are going into Philly as 6 point underdogs. ***?

Take CBSSportsline, for example. I checked out their website, briefly, after the Skins won...which was the biggest story: rivalry, huge upset, etc. What did they have on their front page? The Titans beating Minnesota.
