Vinny has to make his incentives

Because he is cutting off his nose to spite his face.

He will not give into fan/owner pressure even if it means continuing to do the wrong thing by not playing Henson.

The last thing this team needs is a Head Coach with a chip on his shoulder.

I understand that, but what is the point of having vinny in when we are getting blown out? Don't you want your rook to get experiance?

Apparently Henson will be 4 years or more out of football before he actually gets to play.

DO you want him to get pummeled by the Eagles Blitz defence? I don't think so.

I dont like to think that what you write is accurate but I do think there is a good chance that is what is going on...

Parcells has always been about Parcells...good, bad, or indifferent...It is NOT beyond him to dig in his heels and wait until he feels it looks like HE has decided to put Henson in on his own schedule...rather than because of external pressure...

Heck even Coughlin, are real hard nosed guy and Parcells disciple, has named Manning his starter...now, I know Manning has been more active but it's the DISTANCE between what Parcells is doing and what Coughlin did that blows my mind...Parcells has said, "NO WAY, I can't forsee ANY circumstance"....really rather foolish...

EVEN IF he wanted to keep Vinny as a starter, why expose him to injury in a game that is so one sided.

He's being a stubborn mule right now...

Yeah, you're right, ES. We don't want our QUARTERBACK to have to face a BLITZ.

Newsflash - every team in the NFL blitzes.

How many sacks did the Eagles have on VT last night?

I'm sorry, but I am sick and tired of the excuses for not playing this kid. HE'S NOT A FRICKIN' CHINA DOLL.

I'm not saying that switching QBs will make any difference on the outcome of many games going forward. We're beyond that. But Judas Priest (to steal a phrase from Hos' book), we gotta know if we have a QB before next year's draft.

The Eagles defense was sitting on the bench toward the end of the game...and was missing two starters early in the game...The Eagles defense only got to Vinny ONCE...

I have noticed Coughlin is starting Manning against a blitz happy Falcon team that has 30 sacks this season and then the Eagles the following week.

I am sure if Henson goes in, Johnson will throw the kitchen sink at him. Phil & Balt are the most agressive defences in the NFL. I would rather have VT face thr Ravens, and then turn the keys to Henson for the rest of the season.

if henson is not starting by seattle, then i will seriously start to change my opinion of parcells.

News flash for you.....they weren't even getting to the statue Vinny Testeverde.

I hardly think that arguement holds ANY merit.

Even Micky is trying to defend the decision to not start Henson. Although, he's not doing a very good job of it.
