Hellooo Dallas fans,

I have been an Eagles fan for, well, forever, born into the misery and yet, as a Daddy's girl; I will follow them through THICK and thin.

My question to my rivals is this: IF the Birds pull off the W this Sunday, will Dallas fans admit that the Eagles are the team to beat for the high powered Dallas Cowboys? Albeit, the Giants games have yet to be played out

Ok, ok, I realize this is week 5 but; after watching the Eagels (from behind the chair in my livingroom) Lose the the Bears, that we could end up in another average middle of the road, mediocrity of the NFL. I guess this might be the wrong place to ask this question but....

My gut tells me we WIN this Sunday against the Skins, The media will flip flop on the NFCE as is the weekly flavor.

How to you see the division ending up?

You STILL have to play the Skins at FedEx later this year. If you guys win on Sun, then obviously, the Skins will be revenge-hungry come next time.

Really-it's FAR from over. NOONE'S the team to beat in this division.

How to you see the division ending up?I said the Eagles and Cowboys were the teams to beat last February. Don't know why I'd change my mind now. I am surprised at how good the Giants are but they haven't played anybody. I think the Redskins season will be a roller coaster ride. Up and down.

Its just going to be who is the better team that day when they play.

I don't either-however, this doesn't mean this will make the Eagles the team to beat, nor saying the Skins season is over and how their win over us was nothing but a fluke.

Like I said, they still have to play the Skins at FedEx(and the Giants twice for that matter too)-everyone has their work cut out for them.

I really think we WILL. This team has an ebb and flow mentality. Its one thing that drives me CRAZY as an avid fan! I agree that, in this division, no game is an auto win.

Teams do not have the tendency to "get up" the way we fans do EVERY WEEK.

To the poster: Your blind homerism is either A).you are 12 or B) you truly believe that any of your negetive thoughts towards the foe directly effect the team.

I am looking for Westbrook to return Sunday, Andrew's, and more importantly: THE MENTAL STRENGTH OF MY TEAM.

B) Everyone doesn't think that the Eagles are the second best team in the NFC East. Some think they're the third best. Some think they're the fourth best. It happens.

the redskins are without springs/taylor and possibly heyer. Washington has a hamstring injury...no suprise there...and may not play also.

westbrook is questionable. If westbrook plays I think the eagles win. If he doesnt the eagles defense might be on the field to much and get run over late....sound familiar?

The Eagles are the worst team in this divison.

They haven't beaten anyone yet, if the Steelers had even half the offensive line they had in the Super Bowl they would have beaten the Eagles.

If the Eagles win on Sunday, big deal, you're suppose to win your divisional home games. If they lose on Sunday, they are finished.

I'm surprised that the Eagles came out of the gate so strong, but it depends on if they fade down the stretch as to if they will be the team to beat... There is ANOTHER realization that you need to come to. The Eagles havent EVER won anything. Why, oh why would they be the team to beat???

Giants are team to beat. They are the only ones in our division to prove they can go through the playoffs and win the SB. Before them it was us. Before us it was Skins(*strike) and Giants.

Never was it the Eagles.

So... what was the question again? :lmao:

You what I fund hilarious about Eagles fans? When they lose CLOSE games, they go on and on how "We lost this game because of [such and such]fluke play", "We were by far the better team in that game", "We still have a great team and only have a couple of mistakes, we will clean it up", blah, blah, blah.

But, of course, when they WIN CLOSE games, when it comes to the OTHER teams' bone-headed/fluke mistakes, they just say, "Oh, it's just part of the game", blah, blah, blah.

Really-if they had WON our game at TX Stadium, their response to Romo's fumble in the endzone would have been, "It's just part of the game. Romo chokes anyways".:laugh1:

Agreed. I'm not gonna lie. McNabb's comments about how they had no business losing to the Bears and Skins made me a lil heated. I'll give you maybe the Bears (even though they looked good dismantling the Lions Sunday) but the Skins snatched their heart right out of there chest in their house, yet the eagles according to Donovan are the better team.
