What exactly is McCain going to talk about that has not already been made public? Rezko? Ayers? Rains? Wright? Flager?

Everybody already knows about this stuff, you guys act like yall have just found a smoking gun, but balistics has already tested it like 6 months ago.

You guys need new material if yall are going to go personal, how yall think running ads about these guys I just mentioned above is going to change anything............well, it is pure fantasy.

the great unwashed out there ( your words not mine ) already know that he is a muslim, no lapel flag pin wearing, swore in on the Koran, terrorist in hiding,
non-American son of a gun and they dont plan to vote for him anyway.

One word for McCain ....

Keating....

:laugh1:

Keating is a hurdle McCain must clear. He should do it as he has done it before, admit the error, show that he is ashamed of it, and swear to never let such misjudgments occur again.

If Obama would do the same, I'd feel much better about him.

:)

Obama's campaign would say that McCain is still a champion of those misjudgments that led to the S&L collapse, namely increased deregulation.

The Keating situation is so close to home with the current economic meltdown, that getting past it might prove harder than ignoring it.

Dollars to Doughnuts that it comes up tomorrow night.

McCain's been running attack ads about Ayers for months, and mentioned it in national interviews at least as far back as April (http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/04/20/mccain-obamas-patriotic-but-ayers-ties-are-open-to-question/). And Tucker Carlson attacked Obama for it on MSNBC at least as far back as February (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8t4glqu9OfM).

We all are, I'm afraid. ;)

Market's in the tank, government throwing away our tax dollars by the billions, and we're about to elect a class-warfare specialist who grew up admiring socialists.

All joking aside.

Who ever is elected President, and no I am not calling Obama the winner this early as some seem to be doing, but whoever is elected really is hogtied that first four years.

I don't think either can do much with this economy in one term.

Man they are getting a heck of a crap sandwich served to them.

Nobody was listening or paying attention in April or February except political junkies, and most people see only TV entertainment, not cable news shows. Much of this will come as a surprise to a great many people, I expect.

The sad part in the whole thing is that you too know about those characters and are so willing to give Obama a pass on them.
A sad state of affairs in our society when the proverbial elephant is being swept under the proverbial carpet.
That's what really puzzles me.
No wonder the state of the nation is what it is,we don't hold anybody accountable anymore.

Repugs keep stumbling over the same "Iraqi yellowcake" time and time again -and exclaiming "Look over here! Look what we've found this time!"

Is there some kinda unwritten law that prohibits y'all from having a mapmaker or two in your Grand Old Party? Or a mebbe an historian? We already know you're kinda light on economists... good ones anyway. :D

I beg to differ, I remember watching the Rev Wright videos on almost every channel.

I just dont think this type of stuff is going to matter when the Economy is having a meltdown.

The Dow was down what, 800 points yesterday before rallying at the close?

I just dont see McCain coming back from this, I think it is over.

Of all people, I agree with what Peggy Noonan said on Hardball yesterday.

When asked about the issues that the McCain campaign was raising, she said "They are not big enough for the moment." She went on to explain that with a crisis as big as we've scene in decades, this type of stuff is just too small for people to really care about. They're worried about the economy.

Who is giving Obama a pass? I have stated numerous times that I am not an Obama voter and I am not going to vote for Obama. My candidate lost in the primairies, so you now know I am not a McCain guy either and I am not going to vote for McCain.

I am just calling like I see it now and what I see is Obama winning the election if all the McCain people have is this stuff.

New NBC poll out says 59% consider the economy the #1 issue. That is why McCain is going to lose this election.
