All that matters is these fools "America" is gone forever. We have women, people of color, "Leftists" etc taking over this country. Ya think it will ever be the same again? Guess who the minority is and will continue to be the EVER GROWING Minority?!?!

Honestly, this is the best thing McCain can hope for.
McCain has to hope that these people will keep saying "Oh, Obama in a landslide, I don't need to vote".
Before someone calls me a crazy conservative or whatever is in style now... I said its what he can hope for, not whats actually going to happen.

That's a double edged sword though. If people start thinking McCain has no chance, they won't bother voting for him either.
Honestly, regardless of what the polls say on election day, people are going to get out to vote in this election. I'm predicting quite a bit higher turnout than in the last couple of elections.
And the polls? Well, I don't put a lot of stock in the exact numbers, but I think in general, they show the current landscape of the race. A lot can happen before November 4th, but each day that goes by and things don't start shifting just starts building the odds against the narrative changing.

This thing looks over.
Nothing is over at this point.
And those that keep saying it in favor of Obama are being just as foolish as some of these people who have guaranteed a McCain victory that will not be close.
NOBODY knows what will happen, no matter how cocky they are when they say they do, and this thing is not over until election night.
Personally I am still holding out for a wild upset with Ron Paul pulling out a victory. ;-)

I'd vote for a third party candidate, too. Obama has some big chinks in the armor.
But no 3rd Party candidate will sniff the White House. So I'm taking my chances with Obama rather than allow another neocon to be elected. McCain isn't an option. I hope all voters considering a 3rd party candidate will do likewise.
Bottomline... can we really afford four more years of neocon ideology dominating US foreign and domestic policy?
This is pretty urgent folks. Make it count.

Nothing is over yet...no way.
But obviously I like the way it's going right now for Obama.
I'm cautiously optimistic.
And I could care less if it's a landslide or he wins by one electoral vote...as long as he wins.

I think it's the complete opposite effect. These stories serve to suppress the McCain vote and actually energize the Obama vote.
People want to support a winner, and if they think their guy is going to win, then they want to be a part of it.
If you think your guy has no chance, then you rationalize about how he's "not really your guy anyway" and you seek to distance yourself from the impending failure.
