the two parties

McCain - A washington insider that, while doing some good and going against his party and crossing party lines to get things done is still Politician as usual.

Palin - A refreshing change, a newcomer, but inexperienced and dont know if she is capable of all that much.

Obama - A man that has been Senator for a almost two and has spent those two years running for President. He has questionable ties to questionable people. No experience.

Biden - A man that may have some good ideas but like McCain is a Washington guy. Plagiarized speech. Talks nonsense.

Ron Paul - the only person interested in doing things right. But thats not popular so he just gets to talk to himself with a token appearance on a news show and CSPAN.

THIS is what we have to choose from?
THESE people cause the American people to be passionate about a selection?

Times are a changing... but NOT fast enough IMO.

Agreed and I give you bonus points for using the word groupiism as although I am not sure if you made it up on the spot ala steve miller and his infamous space cowboy (pompetence of love) line.

However I still give you bonus points as it kind of turns me on.

The people who are truly qualified to be President....are smart enough to know the process isn't worth it.

Probably more Yogiism inspired... but Pompetance is such a good word... lmao

Thanks for the extra credit Palin ;)

This is true. I have always believed this. The Presidency is like winning Lotto for these Pols. Nothing more.

By and large, I agree with this post.

Unfortunatly, history shows that change comes from the bottom up, as opposed to what you normally hear. Those at the top do not change the status quo. If change is slow, then we probably only have ourselves to blame for that.
