Tucker is mediocre. He got owned by Kearse and was one of the worst performers the previos week.
Rogers is a second round draft pick out of USC.
Zampese used to have a reluctance to play rookies, and I don't want to compare Parcells to him but if the shoe fits........
Either that or Rogers is a bust.

"Owned" by Kearse?
How do you figure that?
Something is pretty "fuzzy" here and it's not just a name.

Things are OK up here in the sticks. Shotgun season is starting soon so all the city slickers will show up to blow holes in Bambi... or each other which sometimes happens.
You mean (tears forming in eyes...) that Subway doesn't make a real sub sandwich?
Oh well I always have some cold pop to drink. ;)

Yep... we'll have some stupid bastids shooting each other, some others keeling over with coronaries because they don't do anything all year long and then figure they can come out here and climb these hills.
And then you have the dummies that just get lost...

Well, at the VERY worst... With Rogers and Peterman, we're creating depth at the offensive line...which we haven't had in a long time. And that's very important to the offense. That said, I think one of them (probably Rogers) starts next season.

Yep... very close...
The actual story from insiders is that the family in question resented blacks moving into the area and concocted the whole thing to scare them off...

You hijacked my thread with this crap.
I am not going to comment on rural America. I will comment on the matter at hand.
I have seen Tucker blow assignments and just plain get beat routinely beat all year long. Just because Vinny throws the ball away doesnt mean Tucker is doing his job.
He is just as much of the problem as to why our running game sucks as George is.
Yet we start him and sit our second round draft choice out of USC which isnt quite Middle Tennessee State.
To me this means that either Parcells is a moron or Rogers sucks. I dont know which is worse.

Rogers is a rookie. Give him time. Not all rookies are ready to play their first year. I'm sure he'll be ready to compete for the starting RT position next year. If by then, he can't beat out Tucker, then we have serious problems.

I don't think Parcells is a moron (although that seems to be the popular theme these days). Rogers probably doesn't suck either. More than likely he is going to take at least a year to transition from more of a finesse type LT to a run blocking right tackle. There are also wildly varying levels of thought on Tucker's play right now. Personally, I think he has some issues with speed rushers, but is OK otherwise. Time will tell, but I do hate it that on a team this bad, they can't draft a second rounder that can actually come in and start.

Tucker is a BP favourite for some reason. He played him last year when he had no business being on the field. He continues to play him this year even though he has been terrible in pass protection. Add this to the fact that we never have any success running to the right side of the line and I would say he has sucked in the running game, too.
I suspect that he will eventually get moved to RG where his issues with playing in space won't be so important. He does have good straight line strength and if you've seen him pull on running plays, you get the idea that this dude can flat out run. I think he will make a fine guard and could be murder on LBs pulling out on sweeps. He is being used inappropriately at OT - he just doesn't have the footwork to deal with speed rushers and is going to get someone killed with his matador routine some day. I don't care if it is Vinnie, but I don't want to see our future franchise QB Henson pulverized ala Aikman.
Bottom line is that the wrong guy is starting for the wrong reason and this whole OL is not performing up to expectation given the amount we have invested here. Warhop needs to be fired along with all the defensive coaches.
