Question About the new Stadium

Since it passed and is going to be ready in 2009 does anyone know if the plans that the cowboys had at the cowboyspark.com web site are still valid? Are they still doing the theme park and hotel deal or has something changed?

I'm curious about that too. Is that virtual film we saw that travelled up the shops into the stadium still legit? Is that how they plan on building it?

I know that was the plan if it was over by the Cotton Bowl but I don't know if it changed. I know in the video they had boast docking at the entrance to the stadium kinda like at Pittsburgh and they had that huge Dallas Cowboys Marriot Hotel planned. It's like a COwboys fan's Disney.
I can see it now. "Kids we can either go to Disney World or Jerry's World. Well, Better luck next year."

the propsal that passed was for about a 350 million dollar stadium...the video we all have seen was for a stadium that I think woulda cost about 600 million...I could be wrong though.

The proposal was for a $650M stadium, split between JJ and Arlington 50-50.

I doubt all the details will be exactly the same as the initial plan. Something almost always gets changed along the way.

If my memory serves me right, the architectural firm and finalized designs are still in the works.

The web site and concepts were/are preliminary renderings, meant as purely conceptual ideas.
