Jeez, some of you guys seem to think I was implying he is a suck player. I WAS NOT. Glover is to DTs as Alvin Harper is to WRs. He's great if he has a counterpart to shift focus away from him. We all saw what happened when Harper had no Michael Irvin to draw attention away from him. The same thing is happening to Glover. With no Norman Hand to soak up double teams, LaRoi becomes a small, ineffective D-Lineman. WITH a big, talented DT next to him Glover is a quick, agile force of disruption. Since we don't have the aforementioned talented bigman I was suggesting that we put Glover on the end where he has a chance to be more of a force. Someone posted earlier that he didn't have the speed to play the edge. He looks plenty quick to me! He's a good player that doesn't have the teammate help to maximize his effectiveness.

Glover has been a pro bowl DT the last few years with no other notable DT on the roster. How do you explain that?

Comparing Glover to Alvin Harper? Please.

Glover has been the best DL on the team for the last couple of years. Would he do better with better pieces around him? Sure, so would Roy, Newman, Dat, Ellis, etc. Harper was woeful playing without any complements. Glover is a Pro Bowler playing without any complementary players.

Real. I stole it from here:

Came from a story about a lady getting eaten by a shark, kind of morbid, but a cool picture anyway.

I prefer "Let's trade Coakley threads". Haven't seen one of those in awhile.

I think even those gooballs realize he isn't worth anything.

Rumors at Valley Ranch are that we will package up Dex and Glover for Ty Law. :D

I think he could make a fine living as double for the Beetlejuice guy from Howard Stern. Every time I see Coakley's little picture when starting lineups are announced, I crack up.

Go tell Nors that... it will be an early Christmas present for him.
