Talking about BP and what he SAYS about Henson and how contradictory some of it is.

Talking about how BP is worried about losing the player (Henson), and wouldn't put him in the end of the game on Monday, yet WOULD put him in there if VT was injured in the first Qtr., etc. and things like that.

Should we start rooting for VT to get a mild concussion or turf toe this sunday??

Dale Hanson has never made a good point in his life!

My radio goes off when he comes on. He's a world class prima-donna!

I wouldn't piss on him if he was ON FIRE!!

Why hate the man when he's right?

Good attitude....don't listen to what he's saying objectively....just come at it with that attitude that nothing he says is right.

Hey, I don't like Micky....at all....but I still listen to the schmuck.....I listen to his contradictions and when he makes a good point, I listen to that as well.

Well, putting him in at the end of a blowout is a matter of choice. If you're putting him in when the starter goes down, you don't have much of a choice. That's what a backup is for. Different circumstances.

How does Hansen know Parcells would turn to Drew Henson if Vinny T went down?

Even though he's listed second string, Big Bill might decide to use Tony Romo in the event of an injury. We don't know.

And like Parcells said, that's something he can't control (injuries).

He can control not exposing Henson to a blitz happy situation late in a game.

The Tuna also said he wants to get a look at Henson before the season ends, hopefully under somewhat ideal circumstances.

Parcells knows what he's doing, Henson will see the field when his coach feels he's ready to handle it.

Again.....if the concern is about "losing" the QB, ie. Leaf, Hutch.....then why is he #2?

He's pretending to be protecting him......his statements don't wash.

FCOL, he was "concerned" that DH would be ruined in the final 3 minutes of the game. Do you get that? THAT'S why he didn't put him in there.....we have a #2 QB that would be RUINED in less than 4 minutes....IF you believe what BP says.

When Henson is second string and Romo is the inactive third quarterback, we DO know. Romo couldn't play unless Henson also got hurt, or until the fourth quarter (but if Romo plays in the fourth quarter, Henson couldn't come back in, even if Romo got hurt).

Yes, BP said that he would look for opportunities to get DH into games.....he's had a couple of chances to do so already.

".....when he's ready to handle it." I swear......DH needs to find another position or something.....I'm getting sick of the handling with kid's gloves that it seems so many people think we are doing.

Adam, wasn't the rule changes to wear the emergency quarterback can enter the game at any time back in '95 or so?

If the third stringer enters a game before the fourth, the other two quarterbacks cannot return to the game at any time, injury or not.

Once the fourth quarter arrives in a game, the coach can freely substitute his quarterbacks as he pleases with no penalty.

I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

Depending on the game situation and opponent, Parcells might feel playing Romo ahead of Henson to be the lesser of two evils.

Preach on!!!!! He's a prima donna whiner--& interesting point, according to Spags--NEVER goes to Valley Ranch, so he's always saying this stuff without first-hand knowledge. He's probably one of these who were accustomed to having the coaches kiss his feet & is now mad because Bill doesn't.

We all want to see Henson get on the field eventually this season, but I trust Parcells to know when he's ready for it.

Given Henspn's size, I wouldn't be so worried about exposing him to blitzing defenses late in blowout losses, but that's just Parcells thinking long term, I guess.

Hopefully, Henson will continue to improve in practice and make his way into a game at some point this season.

I've been laying low for a while, but, Dales is trying to start a fire with a lightening bug. BP clearly states that he would play Henson only if he had to. That's not a contradiction. That's a last resort. Henson has moved himself up to #2. Two follows one. When #1 goes down, # 2 goes in. It's not brain surgery.

And in blowouts.....what happens?

The #1 goes out to be protected from injury does he not? McNabb was even taken out of the game.

Even Aikman said that there was NO reason for him not to get into the game and referenced that in a blow-out, BP should at least be PROTECTING his #1 QB by getting him out of there.

Breaking into this broadcast show with a special insiders report.

I have a friend of a friend and he asked bill why....bill told him that he only does it to make people on message boards mad.

He said bill will go visit message boards and just Laugh his arse off at people who get mad about henson not going in.

Ok...I am joking.

We now send you back to your normal broadcast.

Hey, I'm not mad about it.....jsut saying that alot of his reasons don't pan out. Did BP take Simms out in blowouts? I'll bet he did. Why would he take him out? To protect him.

Well he used to be known as the janitor...but now with a slight bump in pay and a nice new uniform he is known as the Custodial Engineer. :)

LOL... WOW, it's uncanny how in tune we are.

Look up "blow hard" in the dictionary and Hanson's pic is there.

He's the reason I NEVER watch WFAA news at 10:00.

I don't see the contradiction. You would put the kid into the game in the 4th quarter, down by 20 points when the Eagles know you are passing and are bringing heat? You'd call that fair??

There is no contradiction. Big Bill is going to start Henson against Seattle on MNF after a full week to prepare.

The difference here is the interpretation of the term "blowout".

It's one thing to take out a starting QB when you're a team w/ the big lead, and in contention for a playoff spot.

It's a TOTALLY different animal when you're behind, and struggling just to stay in the running.
