Can you update this thread for current cap status and also

Can you pass on official grades YTD for our Oline by player. Curious how that is shaking out.

By cutting Woodson, Coakley and Wiley at the end of the year we can save another $5-9M off next year's cap.

Someone had the brilliant thought of cutting Wiley this year to accelerate his bonus into this year's cap.

I'd imagine Witten's agent will be paying a visit to the Jones' sometime this January with his hand out. And the Jones' should pony up. Witten deserves a raise.

that really wouldn't be a bad idea. maybe k thornton could get some more playing time.

i doubt there is another team that has gotten the least amount of production from our RDE position with wiley and ogbogu. it's absolutely ridiculous.

It really doesn't matter. It would be equivalent to cutting him after the season but before June 1st. I don't know if we'd even save on his game cheques for the remainder of the year - I would wager that his contract is guaranteed due to his veteran status.

Anyhow, with LTBE incentives, any unused cap money gets forwarded into the next season.

I think Woodson will restructure. I will be so glad to see Dat Dude gone.

Too bad the team missed the LTBE deadline without any significant moves.

Adam said that it doesn't work that way. All of this year's money goes into this year's cap withou a renegotiation.

Cutting him today or any day prior to July is al the same with regards to the cap.

The team will turn any incentives they can into hits this year as the Eagles have done for 3 years leading up to signing Kearse and TO.

I expect to have about 20=23 mil under the higher than expected cap with Wiley and Dexter cut, Woody and LA renegotiated.

You think Larry Allen will renegotiate?

I don't see that happening.

I don't see Woodson coming back, personally. It is time for him to retire. He has served us well and I wish him great fortune in his future endeavours. His body can no longer do what it needs to do to play this game.' He has now missed significant playing time in three of the last four seasons. His body is just no longer reliable.

It is time for all of us to move on, IMO - Woodson, the FO, the fans.

No, I don't want to, and you can't make me. :D

Very well could happen, but I'm rooting for him. Class act.

Regardless of how this all plays out he has always been one of my favorites. He is one of the greats and I hope he ends up in the Ring of Honor. Few have been more deserving for their level of play on the field and their ambassadorship off the field.

Very well said, I couldn't agree more. I think he deserves HOF recognition too, but we know how they feel about Cowboys players.
