Palin was the presidential nominee and McCain were the VPC?

I heard someone at work today state that he hopes McCain wins then drops dead after the inauguration. Crazy stuff.

No. Not at the moment it wouldn't. Her negatives are too high with independents right now.

However, if this was 2004 all over again and this was a base election, yes.

The only candidate who really stood a chance this year was McCain. It's a testament to his brand and his appeal to independents that this election is even close.

DISCLAIMER:
I have no horse in this race.

I think its because Obama and Palin are more "today" whereas McCain and Biden are "yesterday".

I want to believe Obama and Palin BEFORE I believe McCain and Biden. Its twisted. Note, I said, "wanted".... Pols are Pols... so that is hard to do.
