Right now she's a drag on the ticket to anyone but the Republican base according to her favorability numbers. However, energizing the base is enough sometimes. It won't be this election, but it is sometimes.

This was, by far, her best interview. She seems so much more comfortable than she did with Gibson or Couric, or even the debate really.

That remains to be seen. In all likelihood, her 15 minutes of national fame could be all she gets. Because, while she is out running around the country performing her Hockey Mom schtick, her state's economy is going down the tubes. Sure, it wouldn't be fair to blame her, but voters tend to hold grudges during the bad times.

Plus, as I said before, in 4 more years, her sex appeal (which a lot of her voter appeal is based on) will diminish. Heck, even this campaign is bringing out a few more wrinkles and that saggy neck thing that happens to women in their 40s. Once her hair starts thinning out and she cuts it down to one of those feminazi women crew cut styles - pair that with those hideous glasses she wears - there will be some other younger, sexier hockey mom to annoy us. At least I'll give it up for the Republican party. They tapped into some potential resource. There are Sarah Palins everywhere.

I just saw the interview she and John McCain did with Brian Williams while working out.

They both kept harping on the quote from Joe Biden where he said that the world was going to test Barack Obama. They felt that that was a major reason not to vote for Obama.

Brian Williams reminded them that Joe Liebermann made a comment that our enemies are going to test whoever is the new president.
