Creepy stuff - foreign occupation, re-education camps and the elimination of 25 million dissidents.

*edit* - the video is an interview from a 1982 documentary.

Looks like their diabolical plan is finally coming to fruition.

Of course Sasqie denies that this was possible or what they planned. His whole house of cards would fall apart if it is true.

Joe Biden...

"And here's the point I want to make. Mark my words. Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he's gonna have to make some really tough - I don't know what the decision's gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it's gonna happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate. And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you, not financially to help him, we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right. Because all these decisions, all these decisions, once they're made if they work, then they weren't viewed as a crisis. If they don't work, it's viewed as you didn't make the right decision, a little bit like how we hesitated so long dealing with Bosnia and dealing with Kosovo, and consequently 200,000 people lost their lives that maybe didn't have to lose lives. It's how we made a mistake in Iraq. We made a mistake in Somalia. So there's gonna be some tough decisions. They may emanate from the Middle East. They may emanate from the sub-continent. They may emanate from Russia's newly-emboldened position because they're floating in a sea of oil.
Only thing I'm asking you is, you know, gird your loins. We're gonna win with your help, God willing, we're gonna win, but this is not gonna be an easy ride. This president, the next president, is gonna be left with the most significant task. It's like cleaning the Aegean stables, man. This is more than just, this is more than - think about it, literally, think about it - this is more than just a capital crisis, this is more than just markets, this is a systemic problem we have with this economy."

More fodder....:D

Biden was probably referring to Russia, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, JP Morgan Chase, or some other baddie precipitating a crisis to see how the new American president responds.

Your problem is that the Weather Underground is 100 per cent IRRELEVANT to this election campaign, no matter how much you McCain supporters try to make it relevant...

But hey, keep on flogging that dead horse... it won't win you the election, but hopefully it'll make you feel a little better...

On a side note, has there ever been a more ironically named publication than the American Thinker?? I can't see any concrete evidence that there are any real thinkers to be found there...

Okay, so this group, which was incompetent enough to blow up and kill 3 of its own members, had plans to take over the US Government?

It's obvious they were delusional too.

No one is saying they were competent. Just very dangerous and way out there. And that Obama has been buddies with one of them.

And McCain's been buddies with a guy who tried to rig an election, then years later advocated the murder of ATF agents...

I'm just glad that we're focusing on this instead of stuff like the economy, security, education, environment, and everything else that's dumb.

I believe we should put everything on hold to talk about the Black Panther Party for a few weeks.

Perhaps a "Political History Zone" or a "Political Revisionist History Zone" could be created.

Silverbear
noun -
1) universal arbiter of "relevance" - one who sits in judgement of what is "relevant" in a debate
2) one who is not to be disputed - i.e. "You'd better see what the Silverbear has to say about your position before you present it."

Yep...just like Saul Alynski said to do in "Rules for Radicals". Read the book (you probably have).

OK, hoss, explain to us all how the Weather Underground is relevant to:

The economy today...

Healthcare...

The war in Iraq...

Our energy policy...

Illegal immigration...

Abortion...

It isn't relevant to ANY of the issues that matter today, the issues that this election should be about... nope, it's an attempt at deflection, and the side trying so desperately to make it an issue proves by that attempt that they don't have any answers for the issues that DO matter...

Anybody who honestly casts their vote based on Obama's association with Bill Ayers is an idiot...
