It was on NFLNetwork. Also, I found this on rotoworld:
Appearing on John Thompson's D.C. area radio show, Clinton Portis revealed that his knee injury is a second-degree MCL sprain.

Shenanigans, all of this.
Appearing on John Thompson's D.C. area radio show, Clinton Portis revealed that his knee injury is a second-degree MCL sprain.
Portis said the pain increased late last week, which led to another examination and the sprain diagnosis. He's hoping to play Sunday against the Cowboys, but it's not a good sign that he can't even bend his knee right now. Don't expect Portis to practice until Friday at the earliest, and he's likely to be a game-time decision in a best-case scenario. Coach Jim Zorn said that Ladell Betts (knee) has a better chance than Portis to play this week.

Redskins coach Jim Zorn expects Ladell Betts (knee) to return to practice this week with an eye toward playing Sunday.
"He's probably in a little bit better position to be active as the week goes on [vs. Portis]. He is nowhere 100 percent yet, but I think he looks like he's gonna participate in practice," said Zorn. Portis owners should pick up Betts for the long haul, but Sunday's game looks like a committee approach with Shaun Alexander and Rock Cartwright.

Take it for what it is. You still need to execute no matter who is on the field.
I call shenanigans on this one, he'll play
This takes the foreskins out of the playoff race

i think he will play, but he sure wont be 100 percent, in fact if they do play him, if he gets hit, he might fumble, which would be good for us

Guys, you can agree or disagree with me but as an athlethic trainer myself, putting Portis in with an MCL sprain could lead to a torn ACL.
IMO, I think that this isn't a fake report and think Portis doesn't play.

No doubt!!!! He won't miss this game. The BOYZ are coming to town in primetime on sunday nite football. They need this game just as we do, they don't wanna lose back to back games at home...

it doesn't matter if they trot out Willie Blade at running back
unless our run defense wakes the **** up, Willie Blade, or whoever, will still put up 200 yards on us.

For second degree sprains, the rehabilitation period will be between 6 and 8 weeks. Rehabilitation under the supervision of a chartered physiotherapist is desirable to prevent a recurrence of the injury, which can be common if a return to sport is attempted too early.

Usually i like to see us play a team at its strongest, but not this season.
Considering we haven't been at our strongest since the beginning of the season and especially since overtime against Arizona, I have no problem playing another team minus a star or two.
I have a big problem losing to another team in that situation, but not playing them.

For some reason I still don't believe he's actually hurt and he's going to play. With the way Bill, in New England, likes to manipulate injury reports and such (And I know this isn't the same type of situation) I don't ever really trust injury reports until the game starts and you see it confirmed that someone is sitting.

I could care less that they are not 100%. In the record book it simply says who won and who lost. No one gave us much sympathy with all our injuries.

Ill not believe he is out until gameday when I dont see #26 on the field.
Who cares about the pride of playing a team at full strength?? I guarantee you that New York and St. Louis didn't seem to mind.

S Alexander is just as prone to put the ball on the ground. Our defense has to gang tackle and punish their RB's and receivers. It is time to play smash mouth old school football.. We should be able to torch their banged up seconday as long as our O-line protects like they are supposed to...... Go Cowboys........

Run defense is not the problem with this team. It's the pass defense and please don't mention that Giants game. They have been running on everybody not just us.

True I'm not saying defending the pass is not critical but watching the redskins it really seems as if their run helps to set up their passing attack. I think if we can keep them in 2nd/3rd and long and make them more 1 dimensional then the advantage starts moving in our direction

True but in my opinion the key guy in their passing attack Chris Cooley because he helps move the chains. Moss can hit the big play but when the skins are trying to maintain their drives Cooley is the prime target.

It will vary on who covers the TE based on where he lines up. It could be any of the LB or safety depending on as I said where the TE lines up on any give play and the defensive call we are in.

I think it comes down to individual responsibility. I think there is leadership with guys like Ware but guys need to put in the work in the film room and know exactly what they are seeing from 1 play to the next and adjust accordingly.
