If you are a Netflix subscriber and own an X-Box. You are in for a real treat.

I just updated Xbox live tonight to the new format (way cool stuff) and picked up the Netflix streaming movie app.

I am watching Season 1 of Heroes right now.

ITS AWESOME.

Check it out

That is all.

Nice. I was wondering when this would finally happen. Is it in 1080p?

not all of netflix's movie data base is online yet so not all movies are streamable and as of today Sony isn't letting their movies be streamed to 360's

Still - they have a TON available and for those who don't want to come in in the middle of a TV series like Heroes or Lost or something, they can use this service. It is much better than watching it on your PC at your desk.

Wow. So how much for XBox live subscription and how much for Netflix subscription in order to get this? What are the limits?

In order to use this you have to have a NetFlix unlimited type of account and Xbox live Gold.

Im an avid Xbox live fan and play often so the Xbox part isn't a big deal to me. I use it for far more than movies.

I think the Xbox Gold is 50$/ year.

Netflix claims to have over 10k titles available in it's Watch Instantly section.

Do they have True Romance? I'm still pissed they haven't released it on Blu-ray.

Not a bad deal at all.

If you are a gamer, you're really only paying the an extra 9 dollars a month.

Only thing I have seen is that their HD movie selection is pretty thin. They have a decent sized overall selection but they had better start adding to it. I know damn well that they have had the subscriptions shoot through the roof.

All season of the office are on there. thats pretty damn sweet.

i wasn't vouching against it, i think this makes the 360 even more so the one stop entertainment console all its lacking now is the rumored bluray addon

Yep. I'm tired of waiting though. I'm adding the PS3 to my 'things to buy so I don't get out of debt' list....I miss playing Grand Turismo anyway. :D

It'll be nice to have both.

I have a new Sony Blue Ray player I picked up last month. Its great, especially w/ BDLIVE.

I still want a PS3 and I plan to buy one during the holidays.

I have a slew of old PS2 games I miss playing and some of the new PS3 titles look incredible.

I stand corrected. Ill just need to head on over to amazon.

I never see them in the local stores here, so I just figured they weren't on blue-ray, for a bit.

Thanks
