I was playing earlier and destroying people, then I got in a rut and couldn't get anything going.
I like COD4 more, but COD:WAW is a very good game.

I don't play on line, but I did just get and I enjoy the game. The tank mission and the plane mission were kind of lame though.

I'm burned out on shooters. After playing Halo 2, Halo 3, and COD4 for the longest time, I'm tired of them. I haven't even touched Gears 2 yet. I've only played it a couple of times.

Love Fallout. Great RPG and first shooter mix in a open end enviroment. Like the previous poster, I was getting burnt out on first shooter and having to follow the story line. Love the open wasteland of DC. Still trying to find a nuked Readskin hog. :lmao:

To be honest I'm a little taken aback by the concept, it feels disrespectful to make entertainment out of a REAL war and to play the part of the enemy of the United States and shoot at CGI representatives of our grand parents and the Greatest Generation.

Gears 2 is pretty good online, Hoard mode is good fun

Yeah, it's an awesome game, though it does take time to get used to.

You should really consider getting 4 or 5 instead if you have the ability to get on XBL. You'll get a lot more 'bang for your buck.'

Unless you're a German or Japanese, you won't have to worry about that. The campaign gameplay involves playing as a Russian fighting against Nazi Germany, or a U.S. Marine fighting against the Japanese in the South Pacific.

Meh, you just have to remind yourself that it's not real or historically accurate in most ways.

So far CoDWaW has done a fine job with story and MP. I've never liked Gears MP and gears 1 had a shorter campaign then Quincy Carter could stay clean

I am getting gears of war 2 instead it is a much better game.Honestly, I have both games, play both online on a regular basis and if I had to pick one I'd stick with CoD. You really will get more bang for your buck because of the superior online play.
A buddy of mine keeps prodding me to get COD:WaW, but i've got so many games and so little time that I have to make the cut somewhere. Besides, I still have (and love) CoD4, and I keep buying games that are 40+ hours of gameplay (RPGs and Strat RPGs) that I need to get on to. Only two games I'm playing now are Resistance 2 and Valkyria Chronicles on ps3, and im not buying anything else until i clear those two off my backlog.

I like WAW better than COD4. The guns and the clip size make the game entirely different and the maps are HUGE compared to COD4. Its a great game and well worth the buy. I got it after I got furious with the GOW2 matchmaking and traded it in for a multiplayer game that worked.

No, not at all. The single player was incredible, but the matchmaking is Xbox 1 style and the host chainsaw has replaced the host shotgun. Its not that great.
Personally, I hate Gears of War. I realize I am in the minority, but that game infuriated me to no end with its shiatty controls.

The MP in gears of war 2 is much better than in the first. The story is also a bit longer and its even grittier.

ive noticed the story is longer. My dad got gears 2 while i got codwaw from his mom/my gma. and we switch em every so often and ive put a good 4 hrs into story mode for both games so far and am pleased with both
