I've tried a couple of them and never had any luck. It just seems that I can't get the spots on the neck that I need to get without it being pretty damn painful.

Used a Braun for years but went back to the razor. Braun couldn't deal well with the stubble under my chin.

I went to the old time classic razor
I use a Merkur Butterfly best dam shave I ever had
The classic safety butterfly's are good ones to start with I think I may upgrade this next year
Make sure you get a badger hair brush a good $20-$30 ones work great (make sure Badager 100% and not boars it has to do with the way the hair absorbs water etc)
Man it does not matter I have the cup with the lathered soap; you can use shaving gel on the brush plain soap does not matter that brush makes a the difference I used all of that and still the best shave I ever gotten

I have a pretty think beard and my Norelco works really well. It took my face about 2 or 3 weeks to get use to using an electirc razor, after that it has worked well.
