Well according to polls about 20% of the people are being affected greatly by the down turn in the economy and Obama is not going to rest until that number is 70%. :laugh2:

Sad part is,those very two words got him elected.

I know...but it was a close race.

We had hope and change going against Drill Baby Drill and Maverick(y).

Guess hope and change won out over the other two genius lines.

Kind of sad when you really think about it.

I mean the election could, in many ways, be boiled down to those very things.

actually i can see that. sarah was on a drill kick (as was every man who saw her) and mccain was just a maverick. i got tired of palin saying "we're just a couple of mavericks!"

in dallas that killed her cause the mavericks have not had a good post season in quite awhile and certainly can't finish one.

Yeah, a catch phrase generation making important decisions on things like this. No wonder Arnie made it as Governor...

Yep...it really boils down to that with a great number of people. And we have seen it used in various forms for many elections.
