If they offer you crack (either type), it's a trap!

Learn (or make up) lots of horror stories about people who didn't have insurance and the horrible things that happened to them.

Every insurance agent I ever talked to was chock-full-o horror stories about people who were under-insured or un-insured and then had calamity befall them.

Insurance is all about betting against yourself (or betting that the worst possible scenario is going to happen to you).

So people who feel good about themselves or are optimistic are the worst enemy of an insurance agent. You need to make them feel vulnerable and scared to death of even the most unlikely bad events happening to them.

Have fun! :D
