Problem with software like that and lowjack is that you have to install it before its stolen.

Nobody thinks they will ever need it until it happens.

Would be pretty funny though. I've read of Apple hunting down an ipod thief by tracking the serial number to an that persons ip.

What are criminals going to do in the future if the things they steal are telling on them?

the same thing they do with cars, steal them and take the stuff out someplace else, than go back to the nest.
