I'm a UT fan, Eric Berry is everything Roy Williams was supposed to be.
Hits like a truck, instincts of Ed Reed.
Top 5 pick.

I like that Runningback you guys have too.
The one who plays simliar to McGahee. Not # 27 but #3 (I believe). Maybe #2.

Eric Berry will be a top 5 pick. He's one of the best players I have ever seen.
He's a flat out stud.
Eric Berry should have won the Thorpe Award. He was a consensus All-American.
Berry was the best defensive player in the country.

He's a first rounder if he plays his cards right.

Eric Berry
There is a hit he put on Knowshawn Moreno, but I'm not putting it up here out of respect to Georgia fans.
Here is Berry taking one 95 yards to the House against the Almighty Tim Tebow. Plus, some other plays.

We could get Berry in the 1st and still be able to get McCoy in the 5th or 6th round. :lmao:

We won't have a shot at him. Our team is destined to do well enough to have no shot at the draft studs but not good enough to actually win it all. ;)

I've had a chance to see both Eric Berry and Taylor Mays in action and I have to say I left more impressed with Berry. Berry seems to fit both safety positions
I wanna say that he played CB against Cal and took on the responsiblity of taking Desean Jackson for most of the game. He did a pretty good job that game. Now the guy is a star and will declare by the end of this season for sure.
Let's hope we don't suck next year, but If we did this guy would be a great addition. Easily the best safety prospect in some time.

Demetrius Morley can't stay out of trouble.
I doubt seriously that he'll be a first rounder with his history.
As a Vol fan, I hope against hope that Berry doesn't come out til 2011.

Berry did get screwed out of the Thorpe Award. There was no question he was the best defensive back in the country last year.

I saw Kiffen yesterday at the hotel sports bar awaiting transportation to the airport. He had a deposition being held at my job vs Al Davis. I gave him congrats on landing Bryce Brown Monday. He was like "man when I first came here you were the only one who knew who the **** I was". Refering to when he first landed the Raider job after being at SC.
Guy seems to be relieved to get outta Dodge. Plus I'm sure his pockets are a lot heavier now.

Taylor Mays is my favorite college player in years. I have also waited forever for a USC star to become a Cowboy star....Ed Hervey, Markus Steele, and Jacob Rogers don't quite cut it.
That being said, if the Cowboys were on the clock and both Berry and Mays were there, I'd want Berry.

He's a top 5 pick possibly top 2-3 we have NO CHANCE to get him.
I'd like to get Terrance Cody, plug him in at N.T., move Olshansky to Spears spot, Cut Spears and Move Ratliff to R.D.e,, our D-line would be VASTLY improved with all players playing their positions where they are better suited to play, we'll need to trade up for him also.

I've got great confidence in Lane Kiffin. He will restore the Vols to glory.
Thank you, Al Davis.

They won all right, and they had some help from the officials who kept Tennessee's defense on the field about 3 times after bogus PI calls. Georgia should have been punting about 3 times, and they got to keep the ball.
It wouldn't have mattered anyway, with that QB situation.

That is a pretty stong endorsement when you consider you are a USC fan.
Mays is a great player in his own right.

The last DB picked in the top 5 was the Cowboys own Terence Newman.
Eric Berry will be next.

Yeah, Berry took Jackson some in that game. He ran in the 4.3s coming out of Atlanta. The Vols doubled him some, too. Berry played CB in that game.
I would give up plenty of draft picks to get Berry. I would give my whole draft up. lol

Morley had classroom issues, but he's back. He has first round talent. Miami, FL is a tough place to live. He will not drop very far. If he has a great year and goes through the draft process well, a first of second round pick is very real, imo.
