Well it is the NY TIMES so I frankly have to be at least a LITTLE skeptical......
what is scary is the fact that the far column is in billions....

Seems like all the columns are in billions to me unless otherwise indicated, on the first link.

I thought it said millions..
Just checked the table in your first links says Amounts below are in millions.

The top bar?
The chart below says millions yeah, but the top bar with the various delineations is in billions, I believe.

The real issue is there should be zeros and only zero on that chart :mad:

It was easy to track the money, from my pocket to the Governments hand to business that made bad decisions. Appears the only loser is my pocket.
