Dallas Cowboys host potential second-round draft picks

IRVING -- Several potential second-round NFL Draft picks are among the draft prospects to visit the Dallas Cowboys' Valley Ranch training headquarters this week.
The visits, which began Wednesday and conclude Friday, included such players as Ohio State receiver Brian Robiskie, Western Michigan safety Louis Delmas, Richmond linebacker Lawrence Sidbury, Oregon cornerback Jairus Byrd and Texas Tech safety Darcel McBath.
All are projected to go in the second or third round in the 2009 NFL Draft, April 25-26.
The Cowboys do not have a first-round pick, but they have 11 picks in rounds two through seven. Their first pick is 51st overall.
Other prospects who were expected to visit the Cowboys between Wednesday and Friday were:
Northern Illiniois defensive end Larry English;
Clemson safety Michael Hamlin;
San Jose State defensive lineman Jarron Gilbert;
North Carolina tight end Anthony Hill;
Ohio State linebacker Marcus Freeman;
Houston offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer;
North Carolina wide receiver Brandon Tate;
USC receiver Patrick Turner;
Georgia wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi;
Ohio State receiver Brian Robiskie;
Texas A&M quarterback Stephen McGee;
Fresno State quarterback Tom Brandstater;
Iowa cornerback Bradley Fletcher.Keep in mind that that the Cowboys' last three top picks — linebacker Bobby Carpenter, linebacker Anthony Spencer and running back Felix Jones — were among the players who took pre-draft visits to the team's Valley Ranch training headquarters.
