How many on this board wanted Jerry to take this guy in the 2nd? Why is he still there? What about Rashard Johnson? Why is he still there?
This year it definitely seems that the teams are not in agreement with the Mel Kipers of the world.

Yup, Cardinals took him in the 3rd.
Robinson OTOH is still there.

Robinson is still there in the 5th round....
But... but... all the fricking armchair geniuses here keep screaming that we are passing on an impact player.... how could all 32 teams in the league agree to pass on this guy 4x when all of the geniuses here who are upset with our picks are sure that Duke is a better option???

Exactly.
Some of us thought even from watching highlights that he was way overrated. He looked lazy and lost his balance a lot.
So if a fan can see that, scouts watching literally every play of his life can see that.
Hence why they are not on here responding until their next smoke break at Mickey D's....(great line from someone earlier).

Possibly the same geniuses that were screaming when we didn't take Witten in round 1 and 2. It isn't an exact science.

30 something teams passed on Tom Brady until the 6th round and Jay Ratliff until the 7th and some stupid team took a one Quincy Carter in round 2 one time so before you insult all the armchair scouting depts....remember that the actual scouts don't know it all either...

I was wrong. I can't believe he fell that far. His work ethic and personality cost him millions, imo.
Brewster looks quicker. He has great feet, and he doesn't have a nickname.
Perhaps, Robinson will turn out o.k. He went to a good team.
Many draft gurus thought he was a second round pick.
He was overrated for sure.

Exactamundo. Many overlooked his character flaws (not interested in perfecting his craft, shows up to camp out of shape, on the ground too much, thought he was better than he was, hot & cold motor, etc.) but the Cowboys kept reminding everyone that this was going to be a draft that focused on high motor, high character guys, and it was a league wide theme. You'll notice that most guys with character dings fell very far, some entirely out of the draft.
