The funeral is set for tomorrow here in Nashville. He wrote some songs for a friend of mine and I had the fortune of hanging out with him on several occasions.
Most recently, of all places, at a shoneys here in nashville. It was a chance meeting and we talked for a bit. He was pretty energized about Tangent music.

How weird... I was just singing "Set 'em Joe" to myself this morning... seriously...
He was known as "The Voice" in Nashville... an amazing talent that didn't fit into the young sexy look Nashville wants these days...
Great writer, great singer... a life well done... RIP, sir...
