Yesterday my family and I went to my brother-in-law's house in Gilbert, Arizona. He's a professional magician and juggler. I've shared some of his videos on the site before.
He has a really cool backyard and last week he installed a zip line. You climb a ladder up into a tree where he has the launch pad. It's nearly 20 feet off the ground I am guessing.
It was a blast watching all the kids go flying across the yard on that zip line. We adults took some turns too. I was the biggest rider and at the end of the line I was just inches off the ground and laid out flat so I wouldn't drag. It was a lot of fun. I rode it about a half dozen times.
I talked my mother-in-law into riding the zip line. She is 79 years old. She climbed the ladder. Craig got her mounted on the seat properly and off she flew. I was at the end of the line to catch her so the abrupt stop couldn't knock her off the seat and hurt her. My oldest daughter took a picture of it. I will try to load it when she gets out of school.
You gota love an old lady with guts.

Okay, here's a shot of my mother-in-law (79 years old folks) at the launch point up in the tree. Her son, my brother-in-law, climbing the ladder to help her get safely loaded.

Hos had a little trouble on the ol' z-line, so this was the only one they could snap before everyone stopped :lmao2:, and realized he was in trouble.

They are good. I've made them several times over the past few years.
Heads-up though, they DON'T keep well. Best if made and eaten ASAP.
