I like Dancing With the Stars.

There.

I said it.

I don't care who knows.

If it's ok for the baddest man in NFL history (Lawrence Taylor) and the king of the rodeo cowboys (Ty Murray) to compete on this show, then surely it's ok for me to watch it.

I got hooked on it a couple of years ago ... watch it with my wife and daughter every week. Of course, we spend a lot of time making fun and laughing (at the judges more than anything), but I really enjoy the competition.

I especially enjoy watching the athletes and how their skills translate (Shawn Johnson is outstanding). I didn't start watching it until after Emmitt had won it, but I wished I could have seen that.

LT has been off for a couple of weeks now, but he took it very seriously and was a real student.

What Murray has done is phenomenal. He talks each week about being out of his element, but this guy has done an amazing job of excelling at something that is totally foreign to him.

Of course, the show takes a back seat to Monday Night Football in the fall, but in the meantime, I find this interesting and entertaining.

Ok, I feel better now.

Dancing with stars...

:dance2:

Please tell me you just like the emoticons. I don't even care if you name one of them Lawrence and one of them Ty, that's cool. Really. In fact, I'm just going to assume that's what you meant and you know, I have to agree with you. Those are some mighty fine emoticons.

Let's just pretend the tv show doesn't exist and move on...

The women on that show are amazing.

That's not a wrong reason to watch it.

I watch The Hills and the Real Housewives series. But that's only because my wife started watching them and then I somehow became interested. For the most part, it's like rubbernecking at a car wreck.

I don't watch the Hills, but I'd say you described Real Housewives series fairly accurately.

I've never watched the OC series and I'm debating the New Jersey series. I've heard there's a Dallas series coming, as well.

Train wreck TV, gotta love it.

Train wreck TV, gotta love it.The Hills is like the Real Housewives only 20 years younger. Seriously, these people are beyond stupid. I can't even fathom how they get through life being as dumb as they are.
