Indeed. I was almost sold on a ps3, but this is definitely interesting. Sony has their press conference tomorrow - hopefully they announce price cuts but I doubt they have anything like this up their sleeves at the moment.

I watched the XBox presentation on g4's stream. I was not impressed by Natal.

Wow, that was really cool. One of the things I hate about the wii is the horrendous graphics, the natal seemed alot better.

Sony unveiled a motion controller today in their keynote.
It was super lame. It's no better than the wiimote.
Sony pretty much won e3, though. The sony motion thing was the only thing they did that didn't ooze crazy amounts of win. They showed off MAG, Uncharted 2, Final Fantasy 13, FINAL FANTASY 14, Gran Turismo PSP, Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, Metal Gear Solid PSP (all new game, between MGS 3 and MGS4) and a brand new version of PSP: PSP Go..slide up screen, more compact, 16gb of internal storage.
Nintendo's was pretty impressive, but nowhere near the level of sony's.
MS was a joke this year at e3.

Sony pretty much won e3, though. The sony motion thing was the only thing they did that didn't ooze crazy amounts of win. They showed off MAG, Uncharted 2, Final Fantasy 13, FINAL FANTASY 14, Gran Turismo PSP, Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, Metal Gear Solid PSP (all new game, between MGS 3 and MGS4) and a brand new version of PSP: PSP Go..slide up screen, more compact, 16gb of internal storage.

Well, I do like the ps3 more than the other platforms, but I currently own the PS3, 360, PSP, DS and I owned the wii at one point. Regardless of "bias", sony was the clear winner at this year's e3. They unveiled way more A titles than MS did. MS' keynote was painful to watch and they didn't show off as many games as either sony or Nintendo did, instead focusing on a bunch of tech demos (Natal and that creepy AI little boy Milo), on-demand, and things like that. Two of the biggest titles that MS showed off are multiplatform, too..not 360 exclusives (Rock Band Beatles and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2)
MS was clearly bringing up the rear in this year's e3. To admit to anything else is showing ridiculous bias in favor of the xbox brand.

Wait, with what? Certainly not Natal, avatars, facebook/twitter, or that creepy Milo thing. That stuff isn't even gaming, its more interactive casual junk!

Basically, a bunch of people from Microsoft went up on stage, demonstrated the casual junk that was the bulk of their show, and made complete fools of themselves flailing around and throwing virtual buckets of paint on a virtual wall and talking to a virtual 8-year old boy.

Alan Wake, Forza 3, MGS, and the 2 halo games were nice but when stacked against the utter fail of everything else MS brought to the table they had the worst showing of the three. Nintendo has three new mario games coming that will outsell the crap out of anything else discussed at e3 and a Metroid game developed with Team Ninja, and Sony has a laundry list of AAA titles that are exclusives (unlike MS), and unveiled a new system. Their motion controller was pretty much junk, but that was just a short part of the presentation.
I get the feeling the ones saying "OMG MS WON ANYONE UBIASED KNOWS" are the ones that are fairly biased themselves. You are the only one acting like a fanboy here, not me. I'm not getting bent out of shape because someone didn't like an opinion. I really like your line of attack that "im pledging my loyalty to a company that just wants my money". I ran down Sony's stupid Disco-wand motion controller. Yeah, that's me, the sony homer that has a stack of DS and 360 games.
I'm counting "exclusives" because it's what seperates consoles from one another. Who cares if your console of choice has Call of Duty? Every other system and/or PC is going to have it, too. Sony has been getting killed in the "exclusive" department ever since the PS3 came out, and finally this year they dropped the bomb. They've got more of them coming out in addition to the AAA multiplatform titles that everyone else will have. Judging solely on the sheer number of these titles shown, Sony won that fight this year. It helped that they spent less time making a fool of themselves than MS did as well with all that casual stuff.

You might have a problem counting as well. MS showed fewer games than sony did, and even fewer exclusive titles. You can literally just go back and rewatch the pressers and count. It's that simple.
