a couple local bands back home in OKC come to mind..Corban Eldra had some amazing stuff but they split up early last year...unfortunately the only place you can find any of their stuff nowadays is m.y.s.p.a.c.e.....
another band was called with no remorse..out of Norman,OK my old band played a couple gigs with them and they have excellent music..and pretty cool guys to boot

My sister dated the lead singer of a local band called Highway Bound. They never made it past the local level. I grew up around those guys. Great band just never got the break they needed.

The Michael Stanley Band...Huge in NE Ohio since the late 70s and very strong here through the 80s. Would sell out large venues for consecutive nights...just never got the national spotlight.

The Music are an awesome band. I've seen them live a few times and they have blown me away every time.

Wayne.
I'm fairly sure this band was from Texas and I wonder if any of the members here ever heard of them. I got the CD and I love it, think they're great. I love music with great musicianship and this is it. It might be a bit 'emo' in some spots, but they're a good band and I wish they'd gotten big enough to continue.

And no one has heard of this band?
I'm surprised I was able to stumble on them.
