Yay!!!

Houston hasn't had any rain in forever. And even tho this is only a quick pee on my yard, I'll take it. My grass was beginning to look like hay.

The rain will probably stop soon and the sun will burn it up, since the high is supposed to be 100 today...feeling like 109.

I don't care. It's great to see.

Would like some of ours?
It has been raining on the NY/NJ area for like 3 weeks straight and I'm pretty fed up with it.

I see some sun right now, but it keeps getting dark and threatening to start it up again. I'm sure it'll wait until I'm on the highway, though.

Oh well, the rain has moved on. It was great while it lasted.

The sun's already back out...and the thunder is over. *sigh*

Don't worry when we do get some rain it will end up being more than what we want. It is feast or famine this time of year. :laugh2:

We got a little drizzle today too for once! Here I am wishing for rain and my family and friends back in NJ are miserable because it's been raining for months. I told them I'd bring some sunshine next week when I go there. :D

A bit different in my neck of the woods. It's about 65 outside at the moment and will likely get up to 72. As for rain, drought has been an issue here as well. I've seen enough in the last three days to green up everything again, but it has been an unusual entry into summer. If you want to cool off, just come on up for a visit!

72 is considered summer? I'd hate to see your winters. brrrrrrrrrrrrr

We do get temperatures in the 80's during our summer, but hotter than that is fairly rare. You haven't read my posts during htis past winter. It was tough. Long periods of -20s temperatures. A few years ago we had some folks from Palm Desert come up. They noticed block heater cords hanging out of the fromn t of some vehicles. When I explained their purpose and the accompanying cold temperatures, they were horrified. The lake in my town freezes up in early December and thaws out in mid-May. Maybe that will give you some insight into why I'm "Phrozen Phil". ;)

I'm from the Dallas area, but New York doesn't suck. I love the city, even more I like working in Manhattan, yet still living in lower Connecticut where there are lots of hills, trees, and the water. (Long Island Sound)
