Why is it that I believe we'll win tomorrow? I truly believe we'll beat Philly.

Well, I'll attempt to answer your question the best I can (assuming you weren't asking hypothetically).

How many times have I (or perhaps you) laid a bet straight up on a 'lock'? Then, only to lose. My personal opinion (and it's just that) is that some games are rigged in the NFL by design.

I believe the smart money is on Dallas - on the moneyline (ok, you may want to take the points).

Tomorrow, I'll probably be trounced for that opinion, but so goes life.

I think it was the last year the Skins won a superbowl. They were 11-0 (I think) we were 0-11 (pretty sure). No way in hell we win this game.

I'll give you everything except the "thank you Atlanta" part. After this Sunday, our draft spot will jump into the top 10 and still has the potential to jump up to #4 depending on what some other teams do. Most of the teams ahead of each other play each other so someone has to win.

Hey bud give me a hit of what you are huffing or smoking. There is no way we get out of philly with a win today. Last weeks lost to New Orleans was the end of the line as much as i hate to admit it. They had me believing and now nothing.

the yr we were 0-11 the Skins didnt win the super bowl, the Niners did...it was 1989...the Skins didnt even make the playoffs that yr, but they were better than us and we were one of the least talented teams in NFL History...

I'm not even sure we were 0-11 when we beat them...I know we were probably at leats 0-8 or 0-9....Aikman did go 0-11 as the starter that yr...

but the rest of what I posted was true...the 89 Skins team we beat was hardly an elite team

I agree, playoff teams dont flop miserably at home to the worst defense in football...nor do playoff teams get pasted 26-3 to the Bungles when there is something important on the line

Great! Now Philly will take us to the wood shed to secure home field. It would have been better for Carolina to win. They are the only team that can keep the Eagles from the Super Bowl IMO. The Panthers are playing good football right now, and should have won last night.
