Instead of a list of players I want for next season, here's a wish list of guys that I don't want back on the roster in 2005:
Vinny Testaverde - admirable job for a 41-year-old, but his presence is preventing us from developing a quarterback who can take us to the playoffs
Eddie George - the Gerald Ford of running backs
Darian Barnes - if a Parcells guy is somebody who can't run, can't catch, can't block, and makes no impact on special teams, then Barnes is a perfect example
Randal Williams - I could have told you he couldn't play after just three years
Torrin Tucker - a face only a mama could love, a game only Phil Pozderac could love
Matt Lehr - sucked at left guard, sucked at center, now sucks at right guard
Andre Gurode - replaced by Lehr...for performance reasons
Marcellus Wiley - had his name called by announcers once this year...in response to his "Dat Dude" introduction on Monday Night Football.
Al Singleton - Hasn't made a play in two years
Dexter Coakley - really hit the wall this year...almost zero production
Lynn Scott - Sometimes you can't tell the quality of a player by looking at him. Sometimes you can.
