Never even heard of it, but it can't be worse than Wicker Man... That was a train wreck, except when Leelee Sobieski was on screen.

I thought it was ok. Kinda suprised they went with the total destruction ending. Usually Hollywood wuses out on doing that. The new world was kinda cool.

I forget the name of the movie but the one where his head caught fire was a copy of Terminator 2. It was horrible as well.

The new world was kinda cool.I was actually ok with the movie for the first hour to 90 minutes... that's pretty much for the sheer curiosity of what's going to happen. But the ending was absolutely brutal IMO.

Honestly, Adaptation may be the only movie where he's tolerable. But that's only because he plays a guy that's socially intolerable.

I liked the movie ok. Not great but most movies aren't. Favorite Nick Cage movies are Peggy Sue got married, It could happen to you, and the National treasure movies. There are definetley worse actors.

Who is the worst Actor/Actress in Hollywood?
I would say Hayden Christensen or Chris Klein.

Was the original equally as horrible and did it have a beauty in it to take away the pain of having wasted a good portion of your life watching the drivel?

I'm going to have to find a copy and watch it now.
Maybe it can help erase the stain the Nic Coppola version made on my psyche. :D

The Wicker Man was awesome! If you go watch it as a comedy then it becomes one of the funniest movies ever. I still don't believe they were trying to make it serious...They had to have tried to make it the worst corny funny film ever.

I got kind of excited when I heard a movie was being made but lost all interest when Cage was announced as the star.

Uh, if you're talking about GhostRider...How is it a copy of T2? You do know it's based on a comic that started in 1967 right? I'm trying to wrap my head around on how it would even look like T2.
If you're talking about the way he looks, then no, GhostRider has looked that way since the 70's.

Cage has made *some* decent movies, but the problem is he has made several garbage movies. Especially of late.
One of the worst movies I witnessed recently....

My wife and I rented a semi-chick flick that he was in a few years ago and, given the typ of movie it was, it was not bad...imo.
I think it was call Family Man. But again, it was a rental and the expectations were low.

I'm pretty sure most of his stuff---even the serious stuff--is full of tongue-in-cheek humor. It's almost always teetering on the edge of humor...and usually intentionally so. I think that's the disconnect is sometimes with those who watch some of his films and think they are 100% serious.
Then again, some of them just planin suck.

You should all get on your knees and thank the good Lord that he allowed you to live to see Nickolas Cage's contributions to the movie industry.

that actually was a pretty good movie
Cage is bearable when he's the semi-serious guy, when he alternates between serious and comedic, he's pretty good, but when he's in those serious roles, all he gives you is muttering and a blank stare

I must have really been watching that mess in the wrong frame of mind.
I should have known when that cross dressing guy got miffed over the killing of the bee that it was meant to be funny...

I can think of three movies he was in that I really like, and 1 movie of his that I really liked his performance.
The movies I liked are The Rock, and the National Treasure films. The movie he was really good in IMHO was World Trade Center.
Crap, I forgot about Face/Off, I liked both the movie and him in that one.
As for Knowing, I just got it in the mail today from Blockbuster.

NIck Cage should just play in Romantic Comedy. It could happen to you and Family Man were two of his best. I don't like his serious stuff. Hated Face Off.
