Thought I'd pass this along in case any of you want to do something similar.
DirecTV is charging freaking $280 for their NFL Sunday Ticket, plus another $100 for the SuperFan package (HD games).
I called, told them I was canceling, going with Time Warner. Told them I can go to my neighbor's to watch the games, save a lot of $. They offered minimal discounts, but I was able to finally get the following.
$10 off my overall bill for 12 months = $120.
$20 off for 6 months on Sunday ticket = $120
Free super fan package = $100
If you're like me and you can't live without Sunday ticket, it's worth calling and dealing with them. They'll bend over backward to keep your business.
