Injuries to any player no matter how big an *** they are suck. But if a team wants to be champions, then they have to adapt, improvise and overcome. The Eagles will need to do that to be considered a great team. I thought they should have done more during the off season. They had plenty of cap space to get another good reciever, but instead counted on Pinkston and Mitchell. We shall see where that gets them.
Many teams have had to deal with injuries. Some got close to their goals of winning Superbowls and others dodn't. The season ending injury of Erik Williams and late season hamstring pull of Emmitt really hurt Dallas in 1994. They overcame an injury to Ray Donaldson in 1995 that really limited their running game late in the season and went on to win the Superbowl.
I didn't think Philly had the mental toughness to win with T.O. and now don't expect them to win now. I will give them respect if they do pull it out.
