Yay or Nay?
Im curious to know what others think of it. I cant give out an objective opinion because Ive got some rainbow colored Lambert shades on.
So, you think he does it justice?

No only is it a massive 'nay', but questions should be asked of anybody who can tolerate a d-bag like this covering a great song like that.

Don't like it. He has the voice for it, but his "take" on it is boring.

Thats a nay for me too. Like theogt said, he does have the voice for it though.

I guess the cover was ok at best but the way the guy danced around was pretty dumb/stupid.

My mom is about as hardcore as a Zepplin fan there is, and this made her vomit.

I can give an unbiased comment on him.
He can definitely "rock out". He could probably cover ALOT of good old rock/metal songs.
I haven't listened to his "original" stuff... but based on what I have seen so far... he could be a good one(from AI).
I think he has got "it".
Nay, but he gave it a good try. Zeppelin is hard to cover correctly.

I don't understand the idea of an 'unbiased' comment. I listened to it, thought it sucked, and commented accordingly. Now if I were competing against him on American Idol, then perhaps my opinion would be biased, but otherwise, it's just calling a spade a spade.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!11!11
I think he should try some songs from Judas Priest and maybe boston. I don't like the kid but I think he has that type of voice where he can hit the high notes and those are two bands that were famous for it so it might match him better.
Although I would still not be able to watch him.

I am a BIG Zep fan... but I can say if someone sings something as good or just covers it really well. I dont have to go into "there is no one like Zep or Plant or blah blah blah".
Understand unbiased now? or do you need more?
A few years back David Coverdale of Whitesnake got together with Page and they "rocked out" - Coverdale could sing as good, if not better than Plant.

I didn't mind it at all. He can sing. No doubt about it.
I don't know what rainbow colored glasses are. I assume it means supportive of Gays.
I'll be interested when he gets to do his own stuff. I personally think Queen ought to bring him on board and go back into the studios. He sang some of Freddie Mercury's stuff on Idol and did pretty well. That isn't easy at all. He has some of Freddie's flair for the dramatic.
I never hated the guy on Idol so I don't have an issue with this cover and I am a Zep fan.

The guy I wouldn't pay 1 cent to see him sing!
He is way, way out for me!

Same song, but @ the 2:15 mark, someone throws something at him and it hits him. Geez. Thats fine if you dont like him, but dont try to hurt him :(
Edit: Video removed. I was just informed what it was he got hit with. EWWWW. But yeah thanks for the comments even though they are not very pleasant towards Adam.

The only things I found were in a duet with Allison someone threw their bra and panties. Not sure that would hurt him. In fact it might do him some good.
:D
What got thrown at him that was removed from the video?

There's probably about 20 cover bands I've seen in bars do it better.
No emotion, no soul, nothing.

A few years back David Coverdale of Whitesnake got together with Page and they "rocked out" - Coverdale could sing as good, if not better than Plant. That actually did nothing to rebut my original point. I said that if something sounds awful (which this does), I'm going to call it out. I have no vested interest in the original version being superior; I'm just going to express my opinion that it is. I fail to see how that's bias.
