If the GM's are smart they won't draft him at all.

Clarrett = Born Loser

Depending in what type of shape he's in for his personal workouts, etc., I could see him going around the bottom of the 4th to 5th round if he's in good shape, etc.

That said, I don't think I'd use anything higher than a 6th or so on this guy, if I'd even draft him. I think he's another one of those with great potential but can't get it together.

I'm sure someone will take a flyer on him and draft him if he's in good shape.

I guess the 6th. He may have gone in the 3rd last year, but he has dropped a lot since then. Still, someone will give him a shot. I wouldn't mind seeing Dallas give him a shot after the 4th round.

Just put it in his contract that he has to live with Parcells. Curfew at 8pm, make your bed when you get up, eat your veggies, and lights off at 10pm unless you are reading the playbook or watching game film!

Character issues that deeply rooted coupled with a year of inactivity is almost a sure recipe for not having one's name called on draft weekend.

Some team will take a chance on him in the second round. I know the McGahee situation was totally different, but he had a really horrible knee injurt and was still a first round pick. Clarrett is not the perfect person but he can play football. Some team will take a chance on him. I'm thinking Oakland will take him as early as the second round.

there is no way in hell Clarett will be a 2nd rd pick

not only is he vastly overrated as a talent, but he is a total punk...Len Pasqurelli said today he wouldnt be surprised if Clarett went undrafted, and I wouldnt either

Right on. Better players with big names have plummeted on draft boards before - for doing less than this kid.

We could get him in the 7th if he only played special teams.

We'll have to see about that. Lets see what kind of shape he's in come draft time, and what kind of attitude he has.

I happen to think he'll be a second round pick, you think otherwise.....

I have my opinion and you have yours.....neither of us are wrong until the second round has come and gone and he either is or isn't on the board.

4th round. After a day of thinking it over, they decide that the risk is bigger than the reward and he goes early 4th...

I think someone with an extra pick to burn in the 4th or 5th round will take him.

he may be a stupid kid - but he is a gifted stupid kid. he helped his buckeyes to a national championship barely outta high school. he has plenty of upside to counter his obvious lack of judgment. there are always enuff teams that are dissatisfied with their running game that - come draft day - he won't last past round 3.

round 3 at the latest...never trust a gm to use his common sense when he thinks he might land a first round talent for cheap.

Lets all not forget that this was the first college player Parcells met with last year. And it was not to just get him out of the way--the thing many across the cowboy nation were saying last year when it happen. If that was the case and he was such a cancer-case like so many claim he is, Parcell's had he thought the same way, would have just passed on him all together. Instead--#1 interview.

I could seriously see Parcells bringing a "troubled" kid like this in next year to compete with JJ for the RB position. Not like he hasn't done it before. Forget those Ross and Bryant examples that everyone seems to think marks the way Parcells thinks on "cancer-type" players, and look at Terry Glenn and Keyshawn, and the shiny siver stars they currently wear on their helmets. If Parcells thinks he can get through to this guy, all bets are off.

This is the exact type of unpredicability that I could seriously see coming from Bill. Perhaps that meeting last year made such an impression on him and that's why we traded out of the first round, instead of some of the more seamingly obvious reasons.

Oh and I vote 2nd--but if he's still there at the beginning of the 3rd round, we take him.
