Kudos to "Todd" for his self-restraint. Either he's the most ethical TA alive, or "Caroline" ain't much of a looker.

And his marriage?

Most TAs are too poor to get married. Probably just values his job.

Maybe her carrying around a fire extinguisher in her purse was a dead give away for Todd not to get with her.

Reminds me of a story I heard a while back.

Professor of mine a ways back told a story about this kid who showed up to an exam and literally didn't do a single problem. I guess he just sat there the whole time. When the test was over he turned it in and the head TA who had noticed him just gazing off the whole time pulled his test to see what he had done. On one of the pages was a $100 and a note that said:

$100 = 100 points = A

A few days later when the tests were handed back the kid turned to the score sheet and attached was $50 and a note:

$50 = 50 points = You still fail. Keep the change.
