Our road record speaks for itself, we'll probably lose, and with Vinny starting you can almost asure that to be true. Anyway, after tonight's loss this is what the 2005 offseason will hold for us as fans.

1. Vinny will not retire

2. On March 3rd (FA season begins) we will NOT sign any of the guys we want as fans. We're going to sign 2-3 midrange suckers, non impact players...again.

3. April's Draft....we'll have a good pick sitting in front of us, maybe a Derrick Johnson or Mike Williams, and you guessed it our pick comes up and everyone is excited at the prospects of nabbing one of these impact players, unfortunately, there's a long pause, and Tags comes to the podium and states we traded down our pick, the crowd boos, and fans all over the world cry "nooooo, !!" We grab some extra picks. Then comes out Buffalo pick, we trade down again and get more picks.....On the second day of the draft we trade a 5th rounder for more sucky 7th rounder picks. This is a stark reality. Get ready for it.

4. You fill in the rest...

Thought? or revisions?

Peterman60, is it time to jump off the bandwagon already?

Why even bother if you're already going to knock the team for 2005?

Have a bit of optimism, no?

I'm not jumping off the band wagon, just stating what is probably going to happen. Archive this post and let's hope I'm completely wrong. ;)

I hope your wrong but I wouldnt be surprised if your right.

If we can get Jerry Porter some better OL and a good LB or 2 that would be a real good FA. I also wouldnt mind goin after Shaun Alexander.

Draft. You know what it might not be a bad draft to trade down in. Ive been hearin this is one of the worse drafts ever for talent. So if we trade down and get another 1st for the 2006 draft it would be a good move.

Thought? or revisions?Jones will fire Parcells on draft day before he will trade down with both picks. Jones WILL draft an impact type player in the first. No way Jones continues to listen to people boo in Texas Stadium. He may pick the wrong player, but he will try.

Last offseason, Bill and Jerry both stated that they were going to be conservative in free agency. And they did exactly what they said they were going to do.

This season, both of them have indicated that they plan to be much more aggressive this offseason. So I am confident that they will do exactly that.

However I still believe that Jerry and Bill will not screw up the Cowboys cap situation just so that they can sign some high priced free agents.

I'm hearing it's a very poor draft class as well. But then again you know Parcells & Jerruh will try to look smart, trade down for extra picks, and just show how smart they are by picking up more scrubs.

Let's face it... Parcells drafts since he has taken over has been anything but impressive. With that being said I'm not looking forward to what will happen this year either.

I'm expecting it will be the Bills situation all over again.

Hopefully I'm wrong.

From what I can make out, the draft is better in the middle rounds than with top end talent.

I bash Parcells alot but he has got us some good players in the draft. Witten and Julius Jones are two. Peterman I think will be good. T-New. I know this hasnt been a good yer for T-New but it looks like he is starting to really come back again and play good. T-New will be real good next year. If Drew Henson ever gets to play again and is good that will be another good move.

Keyshawn was a real good move. Terry Glenn was to till he got hurt.

As for the draft and FA I would rather go after a proven WR like Porter instead of a guy like Williams or Edwards who could be busts. Both will probay do good but you dont know. We know about Porter.

I wouldnt mind tradin down this draft and goin after OL DL and LB and hopefully get K Mike Nugent. Our OL needs to improve so does the DL.
Dont expect any Mike WIlliams or Braylon Edwards to Dallas in this draft. Im predicitin alota OL DL LB and maybe a top FS.

If we trade down with our 1st 1st rounder and get another 1st for 2006 it will be a real good move and I hope it haps.

First thought, we'll win tonight. Frankly we should win handily. The Giants aren't playing Shockey or Toomer, they are beat up on D and their lines both suck.

it does strike me as kinda light at the top (as far as the number of apparent "can't miss", "superstar-in-the-making" talent). there were plenty of good looking draft-ineligible underclassmen in this years college season. the next couple of drafts look more promising.

1st. I expect us to win. It hurts the draft slot but we will likely win.

2nd. Dallas goes into the off-season with more ammo than we have had EVER. We have never had this kind of cap cash or 2 1st round draft picks. The last time we had 2 picks in r1 there was no cap.

What to expect after tonight's loss...

I couldn't get past that statment so I don't know what was said after that.

As for the offseason, I expect big things as JJ and BP know their mistakes from last year and won't repeat them again. These guys are not stupid. Granted mistakes were made, but overjudging the talent on this team (a big mistake) is one mistake that will be repeated again. I can't wait for July and camp to start.

Parcells has helped our draft big time. Hes now saying itts time to spend. The guy was smart enough to get a plan and now he will be smart enough to put it in action.

It takes time to fix years of Jerry screw ups.
