I would rather win and lose a draft spot by goin 7-9 then to go 6-10. Id like to see the Boyz close this season with a win. We would finish with 2 straight wins and nearly beatin the Eagles. Pretty good way to finish the season and have somethin to build on for 2005.

I agree . . .
That double digit loss thingy just annoys the piss outta me.
I'm all for winning and ending 7-9 . . .
7-9 doesn't seem half as bad as 6-10....
I agree ...we are facing a long off season .While this may be a meaningless game,a win IMO is worth more than moving up a few slots. :jints:

Parcells could play QB and we'd still beat the Giants. Half of their team is hurt and the other half quit a few games ago.

If we can go 7-9 while that record bites at least it wont look nearly as bad as 6-10 to free agents when they look at teams to go with. If we win this game those FAs will see we nearly beat Philly and won our last 2. That will help a little.

Looking at some of the tie breakers, it looks as if losing tonight only moves us up to 10 or 11 and losing puts us at 14. might as well go out winners!

Winning moves us from 12th to 13th.

I would rather see us win, but finishing a year strong is no longer a reason to want to win at the end of a lost season. Theres enough change over in teams now that as much as 1/3 of the starters from a team might change from year to year. If 1/3 of the team is new, and I know several are advocating more than that, what difference does it make to the incoming players how a team they weren't part of finished up? In reality it probably doesn't. Where a player goes in FA is mostly a finincial situation. If we offer the money the player wants then they are likely to sign with us, if we don't they most likely won't.

Ill take the win over that #12 pick any day. Besides I hope we trade down with that first pick and find another team that will give us another 1st rounder for next year.
