Isn't it amazing that teams that REALLY have something to play for get backup QB's in the game today, and we won't play ours in an absolutely meaningless game? Yes, I know it is because those playoff teams are protecting starters, but couldn't they use the Parcells logic for not doing that? After all, we have to do whatever gives us the best chance to win EVERY game no matter how playing a backup might help our future.

Which teams did that?
The games I saw today the starters were in if they were fighting for a playoff spot. Those already in the playoffs are protecting their stars. Isnt that smart?

Dave,
Maybe I didn't make my post clear enough, I was talking about those who already had the playoffs locked up. And yes, I think it WAS smart. They didn't put TODAY'S game ahead of their FUTURE. They understood today's game really didn't matter in the larger scheme of things. I think Parcells could take a lesson, because THIS GAME doesn't matter squat. Play Henson.

I would think it matters to Jones, Crayton,Morgan and some of the other young receivers trying to show what they have. I think you would be surprised who it matters to player wise.
