last night, with Jones in company with Eric Dickerson, Earl Campbell, Billy Simms, Dorsett, who else was on that list?
My question is why did they show that list? I like Julious Jones, the kid made a believer out of me, he's good very good. But didn't Kevin Jones rush for a 1,000yds, I believe he went over that mark last week. So why didn't they include his name on that list, he had more yards than Eric Dickerson as a rookie,.
If I miss the significance of the list someone please help me.
On another note, I agree that we need someone to spell Jones, at times. I do not want an also ran RB, I would like to have a RB that is of equal talent, so there would be no drop off, or in case of an injury.
But Jones should try and get with Emmitt to learn how Emmitt stayed so durable throughout his career.

The list was those RB's with most yards in their first 7 games.

I believe and please dont hold me to this ok...that the list was compiled to show you the company that JUJO keeps with only the games he has played in his rookie season and the yardage he accumulated in those games. It showed you what those other backs did in there first 7 or 8 games for there rookie season.

They were showing the 1st 7 games these RB played in. If you look at K. Jones early in the year he was not producing as he has later in the season.

I know one thing Emmitt touted highly late in his tenure here, was that early on he got turned on to either a massage therapist, or a chiropractor, or both, and he had a regular session w/ them that lasted several hours following every game day.

I'm pretty sure Dorsett wasn't on that list last night.

They forgot to put willis McGahee's name on that list then. He was not a rookie but he had good numbers for his first 7 games or 8 games. He did not play any last season.

I was the one that suggested that to him after a Philadelphia game where Jimmy ran him 30 plus times and after the game he was just wandering around the field with a dazed look on his face. Freeman McNiel of the Jets credited his longetivity to the massages.

That could very easily be Rashard Lee and it should be. Lee reminds me so much of Dominic Rhodes for Indy and he should play the same role that Rhodes does possibly prompting a trade in a season or two. He could return kicks and spell Julius, getting about 5-10 carries a game with no drop off at all.

McGahee dosn't even come close. He had 341 yards in his first seven games, barely even half of what Julius had (670). He had
